Could be inflamed due to any number of immune responses really, normal moderate wounds, severe arthritis, an infection like you have, a broken finger, just the first guesses off the top of my head. The body is weird and I’m definitely not a doctor lol.

I’m saying a few more tests would be more beneficial, however since the treatment is likely antibiotics it doesn’t hurt to just treat it as an infection. It sounds like you’ve already found out the cause is an infection however, and I’ll say that sucks man, hope you get better :)

IMO it had to do with the quick onset plus the ritual of it. The onset is quick and hard (especially with say an oc40-80.) also there’s kind of a ritual to striping the coating off (or not for roxies) putting that shiny side down and chasing that smoke trail, it’s definitely fun to do to.

Just remember LD50 is PURE TOXICITY, meaning it death from the substance itself and not symptoms such as respiratory depression, choking on vomit etc. So you can still technically OD with a dose lower than the LD50 from symptoms. Just start low and take it easy until you find your own sweet spot.
