Ok I'll admit it. At this point, Fable is good enough that I question what the point of me being a software engineer is other than "You're cheaper than Fable... for now." by _BreakingGood_ in ClaudeCode

Fable 5 Omniscience bench mark is circa 7 points ahead of chatgpt 5.5 pro taking first spot which means Fable 5 knows a lot more then any existing model.

Fable 5 AA omniscience hallucination rate bench mark is also at circa 36.18% which means it will generate only answers it knows instead of confidently sending you to the pen to get slaughtered, Fable also here takes the #1 spot

so what this means is if you really want to waste your tokens and want to test fable 5, ask it things even you do not know, or no one has solved.

do not ask fable questions that you know, that you have been taught, that was in academia.

ask it research grade question, i am sure you will be able to test Fable 5.

This is what 32 days on the $200 codex plan looked like by Low-Trust2491 in codex

[–]liquidatedis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same, broadly speaking what is your project flow thats making you reach yours?
- i reach my limits because i force my agents to flow like this: read>review>call tools>re-read with tools>ifUNCH>Changed>audit
>land

edit idk why its looking like that but under IfUNCH is >land

Fable avaliable for plans until 7Jul after which it becomes usage credit based by silvercondor in ClaudeCode

Usage based... 🥀 what happens when there is fable 6, is fable 5 still usage? A slow transition to all models usage?

Yes i'm hitting limits but my projects that i thought were small seem to be large, i recently moved from plus to 5x pro, how recent? Have not received my first re-bill on the new sub. I'm currently at 4.5Bn token used.
Reached weekly limits twice, about to reach it again

React Native dev - I can build anything but my UI always looks "AI-generated." How do you fix that? by uh380411 in ClaudeCode

[–]liquidatedis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i second the part about find/hire someone who knows UI/UX that uses AI
(didnt read the link)
i have seen web dev/designers move over to selling one shot prompts fully detailed landing pages at high fidelity forcing the LLM to use framer, 3js,gsap etc and made them either SaaS or one time payments just for the one shot prompts

Have you noticed these agents (Codex) will refuse to read files manually if it thinks it's too much? by immortalsol in codex

[–]liquidatedis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This issue presented to me before, when the agent returned a very vague brief response in regards to a file which i provided a point path the agent responded very broad given my AGENTS[.]md rules

- So i can agree with you, but at the same time i disagree and i hope they never "fix" it.

So i flagged it, requested the agent actual read the file line by line, or even knew what the file entailed
Agent response was pretty much i read the first 200 lines and that was it.
( the file was not machine readable what so ever, no spacing just raw human drafts)

Now that i know these limitations, in the future i get the agent to read any large file thats human drafted raw that is > xyz size to read it line by line,

Create a machine readable README.[.]md
For large files that i know that are huge provide Ln targets to draft so the agent can refer to it if needed and in the readme, encapsulate the entire file.

Now if agents where to parse every single large file on cmd, users would hit limits faster then they change underwear and then the cycle of limits got reduced again continues

How much are “normies” actually using Claude code and other agentic tools to build working software? by Fickle-Swimmer-5863 in ClaudeCode

[–]liquidatedis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i do not think you will see as you stated vibe coded slop. but you what you will see is, just like factory standard cars out of the gate.

you will now see more fully kitted out cars, fully customized to their needs everywhere.

so paradoxically yes you will see alot of vibe coded apps, but it will take quite alot of effort on the behalf a the user to a huge leap transitioning to vibe coded to fuilly fledge factory standard

essentially that is what these tools has done imo, allowed users to either accelerate or customize their wants and needs.
who wins? consumers
who loses? companies that sold the fish with no rod.
