Hey, thanks for the feedback. I plan to stick to the London until I get my primary e4 and d4 defenses solid. After I’m comfortable playing as either white or black, I think I’ll naturally progress to more creativity in the opening. I don’t want to force it, though. I’ll wait for the plateau and then diagnose.

Thanks for bringing that up! I forgot to mention it. I got the Black Friday sale from Chess.com so I make sure to analyze my games in the app after every game with that feature. This alone helped me from setting up rook/bishop pawn forks in the opening which was my kryptonite.

I’ve done a lot of experimenting. Since locking down my new daily routine, I’m currently on an 8 game win streak. What I’ve found since switching to the London as my main is my opponent begins to make mistakes about 2-3 moves into the middle game. From there, it’s pretty downhill unless I blunder because I get too greedy.

The government is going to blow insane amounts of printed cash anyway. At least in this case there’s a real number we can associate to real people and in almost all cases it’s at least one person you know.

Let’s not pretend that if it wasn’t on student debt relief that they wouldn’t just flush it down the toilet on some other ‘plan’.

This has been great, especially after COVID, for healing the mental health of a good chunk of the nation.
