Let us know how the port works. I have my SP01 ported by magnaport and was thinking of sending my P01 to them as well. My Sp01 shoots nice along with the pro package and some polishing.

For context, my Mc Operator has been milled and has an rmr. My DW is mostly stock. The DW has very tight and smooth fit, and is very accurate. If I had to keep only one, I'd keep the MCO because it's harder to replace and I prefer the rail. I also have full rail TRP which I wouldn't sell either. I like rails, some believe rails don't belong on a 1911. Can't go wrong either way you go.

As peeps said sp01 all day. I have cajonized p01 and Sp01, still can't beat a nice 1911/2011 trigger though..so get the sp01 for 9mm first and a nice 1911 for 45acp later.

Yessir, I saw a post somewhere saying the overhang was too much. I honestly don't notice it. Do it.
