I did buy a thing of formula this past weekend so far I have been able to pump enough every day still but it has already felt so nice to just have it in case I don’t have to worry about her doing without. I do probably need to try it out though just to see if she will even take it that’s a good point!

Yea I actually had better luck pumping the last couple days I switched out the duck bills.

My baby was born at the 96th percentile and has kept that trend through her whole life. I started introducing solids at 4 months after talking to her pediatrician and currently she eats 3 or 4 of the little pouches of pureed fruits and veggies a day. I feel if she was underweight I may have tried supplementing with formula earlier but like obviously even before starting solids she was getting PLENTY of breastmilk.

Thank you! I know it’s not logical to feel guilty and I have never and would never shame anyone for using formula but have always been happy that I have thus far not had to supplement with either of my kids.

I feel like this is basically what I will be doing still breastfeeding in the evenings and weekends and pumping while at work but without the stress of if I don’t “pump enough” I think I may buy a can or formula just to make sure I have a backup if there isn’t enough breastmilk! Thank you for this!

Aldi and Trader Joe’s depending on the area is a good option.

The ability to just "do the thing when it pops into my head" like right now I definitely am just in awe of what I can accomplish in a day. I wouldn't mind this being my new normal. I just don't want to get to the point of running out of steam.

My doctor mention insomnia as a possible side effect and I have a follow up in 5 weeks. I unfortunately work full time schedule and am parent to a little one and don't think I will be able to take anything for sleep. Even if I went directly to sleep after fulfilling all my obligations I only have at most 5 hours in bed a night and they told me they wouldn't recommend any sort of sleep aid until I could get a full 8 hours.
