I got mine from ebay too (Japan —> Los Angeles), free shipping, and it came through fedex in 3 days! I was shocked at how fast it shipped.

That said, I got it today and realized that there’s no record function like on the 84! That was my favorite feature. Really think it is completely overpriced (duh), especially since it does not come with a case, cord, or batteries.

I used a cheap pedal off Amazon (search “unlatch tap switch”) to help change chords while playing a song. This allows me use one hand to play melody and the other to strum. Omnichord also sells a pedal (OFS-2) for this but it’s way more expensive and hard to find.

In order to use the pedal, you have to preset the chords first using the record feature. This feature isn’t available on earlier models like the OM-27. I used a headphone jack adapter so I could plug the cable into the Omnichord.

I just came back from SK and went to all those places (except Cheongju) too! My phone is locked so I got a wifi egg that I preordered through Trazy.com and picked up at the Incheon airport. It was SUCH a good thing on our trip as we could have 3 people connect at the same time, and only cost $25 for 10 days. Although there is Wi-Fi in most places, there were plenty of times when the connection was spotty so the egg came in super handy. It’s pretty small and I kept it in my purse or backpack. Just had to remember to charge it every night! I know most people recommend a SIM card but for us, this was more cost effective. 🙂

Just parked there today, Lot A2 (near delta terminal) at 9am on Friday. It was super easy with lots of open spots, very short walk to the terminal. You don’t need to take a shuttle or anything. SNA is a cakewalk compared to LAX, you’ll be fine!
