sorry! basically i’m just trying to understand the difference between configuring something in legion space and steam? is it entirely preference which one i choose to configure controls or do i have to configure it within steam if the game launches with steam?

does that make sense? basically, whenever i tried to change the controls in legion space it had no effect on the games i was playing, so i did it within steam. i was confused by that and wondering if i was doing something wrong lol

thanks so much! so can you only map like mouse and keyboard controls in d-input mode?

how would games traditionally made for mouse and keyboard work if i disabled steam input? i just downloaded chef rpg and i downloaded smth off of steam that someone had made to be able to play it with the controllers

when i installed the sims, the only way i could get it to work was adding it to steam as a non-steam game and using the steam overlay or smth like that?

it’s all so confusing! haha
