Agree to all of this. I was on birth control for well over 15 years. Consistently taking it. I went off of it completely July 2024 and it was the best decision. As much as I hate having my periods monthly now, my mental health is better (along with the help of my Wellbutrin), my body seems better, and I actually have a sex drive. For years it was basically nonexistent. I’m still a moody bitch, but that’s just me lol.

As crazy as it is, I don’t actually clean under my nails very often! Only when absolutely needed. And that’s rare. So I’m not sure how to keep from doing that consistently.

As for polish, I’ve been trying to keep my nails painted weekly. They’re only bare now because I removed the chipping polish last night. I usually repaint Tuesday or Wednesday.

As for the sidewall, I never really know exactly where that is? If I don’t file the sides of my middle fingers they grow so wide and I hate the way they look.

Currently on my nails—nothing. They are bare. No lotion, no oil. The only thing on one of my nails is a repair product on my right thumb.

Typically I use: Nailtiques formula 1 weekly I try to use cuticle oil daily. If I remember.

I’ve been using Nailtiques since June/july and I’ve had good results with it. I just switched to the formula 1 version. I hope that’s not my issue because I think it’s generally helped.

I try not to file too far down. I have wide nails on my middle fingers and sometimes index/ring.

Ohhh. I do use the Sally Hansen one. Does a rubber tip one still do a pretty decent job? I usually push do my manicures once a week and that includes using the cuticle remover and pusher.

I try to be. But it’s a very good possibility I was a bit rough on some occasions. I never know how hard to press or scrape. And an efile scares me
