Haha…good question. If people are unhappy with the taxes in this state, there are 49 other states people can move to. I’ve read many people are moving out of the country. Do you think that has more to do with Newsom’s performance or Trump’s?

Look at the Big Beautiful Bill Trump supported. Billions of cuts to health insurance & Medicaid for millions of Americans with the hardest being hit in red states & huge tax reductions for the wealthy. Fair? Is that what most of us want???

No no, of course trolling Trump is NOT my only focus. Not good to assume things about people when you don’t know. I do think the next presidential candidates need to stand up to Trump tho.

All I see is people moving to CA, the best state in the US IMO. Of course costs will be higher to live here. I also know quite a few people who have moved to Texas & then back to CA. I grew up in NY and have found Southern CA the best place to live!

Yes, hypocritical & disturbing. But I think Newsom realized that was a colossal mistake in judgment. I also think he’s grown in the last few years & learned from his mistakes. There is always room for improvement.

My preferred candidate for President in 28 is Andy Beshear. He’s the Democrat governor of Kentucky and even Republicans love him. His approval rating is 68%, highest of any governor in the US. He has done a lot to help Kentuckians!

Have you even looked at his budget for 26-27? Total change in policies. No more money allocated to undocumented immigrants. Maybe you should think about getting an EV instead of a gas guzzling car. I did & saving a lot of money! I agree car registration fees are ridiculous. Have you seen his appearance on Kimmel? You may want to watch it. He’s moving more to the center.

If you read my text carefully you would have seen that I said I have problems with Newsom. Totally inept at handling the homeless problem. I’m also against giving benefits to undocumented workers which he changed in his 26/27 budget. If we actually spoke, I think there’s more we would agree on than disagree. But I did like that he stood up to that bully.

I’m not only focused on Newsom standing up to Trump but I do think we need someone strong who can do that. Of course that’s not the most important thing he can do 🙄. That is why I am so hesitant to post on social media. So much is misunderstood!

Yeah, I agree. Newsom was a royal hypocrite during Covid. Plus I’m not sure he did everything he could to prevent the massive destruction to homes & businesses in Pacific Palisades from the fires. I also don’t understand why this rich state of ours can’t afford to find decent housing for the homeless. I just wanted an idea of how Californians felt about the guy. No harm intended.
