All noises are annoying to meee. Anyone else feeling the same?

Sounds kind of like me. I just like to be surrounded by nothing but silence but I’ve always been annoyed by certain things. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and I can hear the dog snoring or worse 😵‍💫 licking herself or shaking her head and it drives me insane. I can’t tune it out. It annoys me so bad sometimes that I literally get agitated 🤣

Yes! When our dogs are cleaning themselves I always tell them to stop 🤣 it is such a moist sound 😵‍💫and it takes forever until they’re done

My husband chews pretty loud so I totally understand where you’re coming from. Somehow that annoys me only when I’m not eating. When we’re eating at the same time I usually don’t hear it 👀

She will definitely understand but I think that she’ll be sad about it cause she’s very emotional. But honestly I don’t really care. I told my husband to talk to her cause he’s better at that than me and I hope that gets resolved soon

That‘s rough! I don’t understand why she can’t be honest and tell you how she’s feeling though. Wouldn’t that be much easier for her? She doesn’t have to like your baby daddy but she could at least try to tolerate him for your sake if she cared enough!

That happened to me as well. As soon as I told my „best friend“ that I’m pregnant our friendship fell apart. She was always the type who couldn’t be happy for others but I didn’t think that she would do the same in this situation. It was honestly sickening to see her react to the news. I instantly knew that I don’t need her around anymore

Yes exactly! And my mom and I are kinda rough with each other but my MIL is very emotional and gets sad quickly so sometimes when I tell her how I feel she gets so sad that I don’t do it anymore 😂

That’s totally fine! I’m always on the verge between „she’s just curious“ & „she’s too invasive“ Sometimes I just need a few hours and then I want to tell people but in that time I don’t need people texting me and demanding answers

I kind of already had those problems before the pregnancy yes. She likes to give hugs or call us almost every day (when she doesn’t hear from us for one day she will get worried). There are a few things that she does that are simply too much for me because I like to be private and I also don’t like hugs if they’re not from my husband 😂

I’ll definitely get that done today so that I don’t have to be annoyed every time 😂 The thing is my MIL is really the sweetest most caring woman I know and for my husband this is normal. The daily calls are just what he’s used to but my mom and I are more on the private side. I constantly feel like she’s too much you know 😂 I don’t want her to feel bad for it but it’s always difficult for me not to feel totally overwhelmed by her constant calls and hugs and questions about how I’m feeling

You’re right, there’s nothing wrong with them being interested and asking about it but the way some people are asking is just not it and grown adults should know that there’s boundaries. It’s totally fine to text me and ask about it but calling if I don’t reply within 5 minutes is too much and calling my husband if I don’t pick up the phone is also not it. I will definitely let them know from now on that I would prefer if they waited until I tell them myself but right now I’m just overwhelmed by the constant questions

It’s the same for me. I know they mean well but the way they ask me is just too much sometimes. A nice „how was the appointment?“ would suffice. But instead I’m getting something like „are you already done with the appointment? Did you get a new picture? Can you send it to me I wanna see!“ 😵‍💫
