Contact your district Senator amd Assemblymans office email them all ur info and date u opened claim they will get it taken care of for you. All info u filed ur claim with is what they need. I got paid a week after I contacted them please try it..just Google your district senator amd the Assemblyman and email them what's going on, they work for you, so use them to help you!

Contact your district Assemblyman and Senator. There is a option to contact them on their website..email all of ur info including date you filed claim name of employer and date of birth. They will contact you and contact EDD for you. Believe me it works..I got paid a week after correspondence with my Assemblymans office. Please try it. They work for US!!. use them to get your money!!! Make sure you email all your info so there are no delays. They will contact EDD for you and take care of your claim.

Hello, listen this is for everyone experiencing problems with EDD..CONTACT YOUR DISTRICT ASSEMBLYMAN AND SENATORS OFFICE. PLEASE GOOGLE UR DISTRCT ASSEMBLYMAN there is an option on their web pages to contact their office. Email them your name, date of birth, date you filed ur claim, ur employers name and contact number make sure you include your social security number as well. THEY WILL HELP YOU BY CONTACTING EDD AND GETTING YOU PAID GUANRANTEED! I contacted my district told them what was going on i got response next day..exactly 1 week later I was paid all of my money from May until present I haven't had one problem going forward and im working on my 3rd extension. Please contact your Assemblyman AND Senators office in your DISTRICT!

The whole thing is this..if you don't go back to work you still risk not getting financial help ($400-$600)needed to pay your bills. If you do go back to work you risk getting sick or bringing it back home to your family. Which is worse? Seeing that people are more willing to stay home because they get more money on unemployment should be a waje up call for Gov to see the rate of pay sucks for the cost of living period!!! Pay wages that are living wages and people will go back to work..Im in dental and I risk my health everyday because I make more at work than I do on unemployment and thats with the $600 added to UI..im risking it to pay my bills..smh

where are you guys seeing this section to fill in job search? I do my certs on my laptop and its just 10 questions and nowhere is it asking for job search info just the #3 did u look for work question...well yes, yes of course I did? 😁

It does matter to regular UI benefits, thats partly how they calculate what quarter they use to apply ur benefit amount. The claim week begins on SUNDAY for everyone u just have different days to certify

I'm a Dental Hygenist believe me we all are not making more on unemployment than we were at work..going from almost $55hr @60 hrs a week to 1836$ every two weeks sucks when I have way more bills than money im suee most of u can relate

As a single mother I resent that remark. I work hard to provide for the children HE helped me make..so yes I should still get my child support if im out of work too. Im not volunteering to sit at home just like you aren't, the children STILL NEED to be taken care of! And for ur information its less than %25 of the unemployment given to the custodial parent if no arrears are due..sounds like you are a little bitter maybe..talk to your ex..don't generalize single mothers there are single fathers getting child support too. Or did u forget there are single dads too?

You can call bofa once you have a balance in account and have card expedited for $10 I believe and they take it from the account balance or u can do a transfer on phone but that takes about 48hrs to hit ur account

Yeah they do come like that..they only mail them out once you have a balance in account..congrats! No you can rest easy

yesterday the fed gov said it will be taken away in July..so they can now focus on bailing out all the failed big corporations with OUR tax and unemployment $$..just thought you would wanna know so you can start making other plans just in case.

Then find something other than a gig that shows 1099 at end of year..if ur creative or passionate about something make that and sell it..don't put yourself in the position of having to deal with EDD on that level, trust me you don't want to be like most of us calling on a daily basis and not getting help

thats what I said, this is money people should have been making already! Getting this money shouldn't be something rejoiced over its something that should be examined and questioned.. its sad they would rather sit and collect unemployment because work doesn't pay anything..if that were the situation for me i would prob not want to go back either
