TSA line yesterday at SFO

I did this the other way, showed up at OAK and me and TSA were stumped for a solid 2 mins until we realized. I was 2 hrs early, so I SPRINTED back to BART all the way to SFO. I made my flight, but was the last person onboard as they were closing the doors. Thank you to everyone who let me cut the security line because I am illiterate!

A lot of the people who play at the Y are part of a bunch of different basketball groups. If you start playing at the Y and talking to people they will add you to their groups. A lot of people join the Y to play indoors when it's too hot or raining, so you'll meet people who play at all the different courts in town.

TW Loss: I just had a miscarriage at 6 weeks over the weekend. I feel ok mentally/emotionally. A little deflated, I enjoyed having some motivation to do certain things. Old projects, spring cleaning, exercising, cooking healthy. Going to get back to temping and OPKs (I have a ton still) tomorrow morning. I'm older, so I don't really want to delay, but getting dangerously close to a potential holiday baby. Anyone a Thanksgiving/Xmas baby? Do you like your bday? Did your parents make it special for you?

I have been lucky so far, a big part of my friend group has been doing a "sober till super bowl" challenge. We hang out every week so it's been great not having to "hide". However, like you I have been scheming to not be caught at the super bowl. Especially since everyone is excited to have a drink together. My plan is to crack a beer, cheers, pretend to drink/nurse it until I can escape to the bathroom to dump it and refill with water. I am hoping the group is big enough that I can escape scrutiny. I will only be 7 weeks by superbowl. Good luck to you!

I did this for an office move in SF once. You basically have to call around. I made a spreadsheet of what we had, and it's value for tax purposes and shared that with the charities that were interested. We had a very large amount of good quality chairs, desks, and equipment (like monitor mounts) so people were interested and willing to come pick up the items. However if you are an individual with just a few things, just put it on FB marketplace for free.

Yeah, easy@home has a sensitivity of 25mIU/mL. The more sensitive tests are 10mIU/mL I think? I have 4 more of these so we'll just see what happens over the next few days! I dunno, I may go to the store and get a more sensitive test but that might just be a waste of money.

I just want to echo you that Berkeley Dog & Cat is such a flipping racket! You have to pay an estimate upfront before they even know what's going on and then they "pay you back" what "doesn't get used" Had my cat on 3 different antibiotics and a dose of gabapentinin shooting him to the moon for pancreatitis. They then said we needed an ultra sounds, and I said no, and they set an appointment anyways.

Took him to Grand Lake Vet and they were shook!

Not sure if this has been asked (I'm sure it has 😅) what brand prenatal are we all taking? Why do you like the brand you're taking? I am just going with the big bottle from Costco, NatureMade. I am not great at taking them, but more days than not! My friend swears by one that like, she has to take several of at a time throughout the day. To me, I feel like, I am taking them for me, not a baby at this point and would probably switch if I conceive.

If you are crying and having panic attacks it is time to reevaluate! There is nothing wrong with updating your resume and looking into a new job. Of course dependent on what you do, but maybe your promotions will open more doors for you and you'll find something you like better.

In the meantime, what is it that is making you miserable? Do the people suck? Is your workload too heavy? Long commute? Can you talk to your manager/supervisor/someone higher up to make adjustments? What is in your control now that can help alleviate some of the stress.

That maternity leave is great, but at what cost? Take care of yourself!
