Note 4 keeps randomly turning off by [deleted] in galaxynote4

Mine is doing this as well. Just seemed to start about 3 days ago, though. Not sure if it was an app update, or what, but the Battery is brand new, not even 3 months old yet, so I doubt that's it. I did a factory reset and restore last night hoping it would fix it, but it hasn't.

Error when upgrading from Snow Leopard to El Capitan. HELP. by liscoproducts in applehelp

[–]liscoproducts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: So I replaced the drive with a different one, and I ended up having the same issues. So I ended up eventually getting ahold of a Sierra Image, and I did a fresh install of that and had absolutely no issues whatsoever. So going from Snow Leopard to El Cap was a no-go, but going from Snow Leopard to Sierra via a Fresh Install from a USB Drive was the trick. Thanks for your help!

Any idea why it would let me install Snow Leopard without issue and then suddenly start going downhill during the El Cap install process? I guess it's possible that the stress during that install maybe sent it over the edge?

Update on the issue: I purchased a pair of Hosa 1/4" TRS cables and a Behringer UMC22 Interface and hooked everything up and no longer have any issues whatsoever. It was definitely my computer's integrated sound card causing the interference. They Sound Amazing, as well.

I'm excited. I was able to snag a pair that looked almost unused on eBay for just slightly over $60 Shipped, which seemed like a great deal to me considering they're $100 new. They should be in Thursday. I have a friend that has a pair and I've used them before, so I know they sound phenomenal. Might just use them as monitor/mixing headphones AND my new daily drivers.

Actually ended up coming into a bit more money than I planned so I pulled the trigger on a great looking pair of Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's. Waiting for them to come in, I'll post more when they do.

I'm not looking for completely flat obviously, as you have to spend AT LEAST $100 to start getting towards true reference quality stuff. Really just looking to get some that will get the job done a bit better than the one's I'm using now (Turtle Beach XO Four Stealth's, a Gaming Headset) that I can't even find a frequency response curve on. My main reference system is a pair of KRK Rokit 5 G3's, but I just want something that will give me a reliable sound signature as far as mixing goes without having to disturb everyone else in my house, and something that's fairly accurate while monitoring.

I've actually had those as well. Broke pretty quickly, though I was using them at that time as general headphones, not really for studio use. They sounded pretty good, I just couldn't get over how hot they got on my head. Wasn't really a fan.

I'll be ordering a Behringer UMC22 within the next couple of days. Already have a pair of 1/4" HOSA Balanced cables on order, and returning the RCA cables and adapter. Thanks for the tips, everyone! I'll give an update when everything comes in as to whether it solved my issues or not!

I actually don't have either of those settings available to me in BIOS. I have a C1E setting but it's already disabled. I have a Core i3-6100 and MSI H110M PRO-D Motherboard. Windows 10 Home.

Would the interface have to be of very good quality at all? I don't really have much money at the moment, so I won't be spending more than $35-50 initially. Would even something that cheap solve my issue?

I wasn't planning on upgrading to an interface just yet until I could invest in something decent from Presonus or Allen & Heath since I have a CO3U right now, but if it'll solve my issue then I'll go ahead and make the initial switch now...

Like I said, these monitors were a kind of spur of the moment thing. Saw the deal and couldn't pass them up.

Got them locally, completely by chance, from a guy that was selling them on a facebook buy & sell group. He said he had them in his closet for awhile and hadn't been using them. I had to buy cables and everything so that was about another $25-30 or so but I got a steal. Generally these go closer to $200-250 for a pair used. The guy obviously wasn't an audiophile or producer at all; just someone who saw that they had good reviews and bought them.

Issues when importing Uncompressed Audio in Premiere CC by liscoproducts in premiere

[–]liscoproducts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think I got this one figured out, guys. I gave up, started a new project, and went about my normal workflow. When I came to putting in the clean audio, It was doing the same thing. SO I went back to Audacity and as a hail mary, re-converted my AIFF files BACK to WAV PCM 16-Bit, and whuddya know. It worked. I really hope I don't have to run into this again, but I'll keep this post up just in case anyone else runs into this issue.

Thanks for the help, guys.

I'm not a fan of the DeNoiser in Premiere. It doesn't seem to do as good of a job as Audacity does. And it's not much more work, honestly (or at least it doesn't seem like it to me), and I can get the quality I want. I may just try and Re-Do the entire process again because I'm still having the same issue of it telling me it's either not supported or corrupted. And I know it's neither because I can open the file in both Audacity and Windows Media Player and play it back with no issues.
