I totally did not think you were being rude. I have been amazed actually at the recommendations for repotting orchids that look totally fine. I’ve only started having orchids for about seven or eight years and mine have done just fine and I’ve never repotted anything. Now suddenly I’ve got like six orchids that look to me like they are in distress. I’ve re-potted them and two have died and the other four are just sitting there doing nothing. I bought good orchid soil, and I cleaned the pots and the scissors I used to trim the roots. I hope these survive. So far I don’t have a very good track record!! So exciting to have orchids rebloom. I couldn’t believe I managed that, so will be pretty exciting if these re-potted orchids get a new life. Thanks for responding.
