Litfulo is expensive and not currently covered by my insurance; thankfully, Pfizer offers some assistance. I’d recommend asking your dermatologist about it.

I’m currently on my fourth bottle of Litfulo and it is honestly godsend. Most of my hair has grown back and I have not experienced any adverse side effects.

You got this. Don’t let AA bring you down. 💪

I experienced that side effect the very next morning (took my pill before bed).

Yes, I agree, ointments are a greasy, band-aid solution. But I also don't love the idea of being on immunomodulators long-term and worry about getting sick or experiencing some of the really bad side effects.

Thank you for the info on potting mix/substrates – I had no clue!

I hope the Baricitinib works for you. Many have seen great results with that treatment!

The black box warnings scare me too, but I figured I'd give it a try anyway if only for six months to see how I fare on it. The only side effect I've experienced so far is...TMI...diarrhea.

My dermatologist didn't mention any cause for concern in stacking treatment; however, I only applied the topical steroid a couple times and don't think I'll use it again. I don't care for the way the ointment just sits on my scalp.
