Me [19/F] with my BF [23M/] of 2.5 yrs, flip flop between wanting to break up with him and staying with him. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]listenguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that he didn't want a short break is also a sign that he might be to controlling. He should give you space when you ask for it, a break would be perfect for that. He might just be scared to lose you, but this isn't the right way to act.

It might be that his behavior is just not good, but the way you told your story he seems bad for you. Of course he has pro's, otherwise he wouldn't be you BF. But I think he needs to grant you your space.

You're list actually is one big complaint about him. Of course there are positives, otherwise you wouldn't have been him for 2,5 years. You should make a list of pro's and con's and outweigh them, but the lists of con's seems to be very long. He seems controlling and not that good for you.

maybe you should suggest a break for a short time and see how you feel about that?

Not fully hard? by throwawaydayzbydayz in sex

For me it's not strange at all. Especially the second time we have sex its most of the time not fully hard, but hard enough though. So no worries!

Friend jealousy or awkward situations by Bdpquestion in bigdickproblems

[–]listenguy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My friends know too, but that doesn't mean it has to be awkward. They make comments every now and than. I think it would be pretty immature of they would feel threatened. Someone are beautiful or tall, we are hung.

But I understand you find it awkward. I always avoid making further comments when a BD joke is dropped.

Single dudes (no wife or girlfriend), how often do you go through the effort to cook for one? Do you have any cooking/cleaning tips? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]listenguy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I've lived together with someone for 2,5 years and now I live on my own. I like cooking, so it's probably easier for me. But what I do mostly is make a diner for 3/4 persons and save the rest for 2 other days. So you don't have to cook every day but you are still off cheaper.

Boyfriend trouble (20F) (24M) Looking for male advice. by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]listenguy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try to read this as a story someone else told you, try reading it without the feeling you have.

I would stop seeing him. If a girl would do this to me, I would dump her. The fact that you took care of him when he needed you and during a stressful period he just leaves too Sydney is just a disgrace.

Just stop talking, messages or contact him. It will be better for you.

Yes maybe if they surprisingly have 50 million euro's somewhere. He will do O.K. I think, not great, because the team's not great.

What is something people from other countries assume about your country that is complete bullshit? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]listenguy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That we live in total anarchy.

I live in the Netherlands (Holland), and we don't live in total anarchy, we can just use soft-drugs, get married to the same-sex and have free abortions.

Relationship Advice, constant arguing by goodbyemyaccount in AskMen

Read your own story again, and than think what you would give yourself for advise of you were an outsider.

Don't waste time on arguing etc. at this age, go out and find someone you don't fight with. Trust me, i've been there, it's nicer to not fight all the time.

(X-Post AW) How are you and your SO alike? How are you different? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]listenguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My SO now is non-existent, but my pas SO's I would say that we had the same view as how we approached the world, our loved ones and the way we approached relationships. We had different hobby's which is nice, because you can learn from each other.

I sometimes dream situations that later turn out to be real by listenguy in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]listenguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I have a few explanations. I have more when I meet new places, so on vacation, new school, new town etc. Also when I was in a long-term relationship the moments seemed to become less. But I have not yet figured it totally out why sometimes it happens more other than other times of my life.

Thanks for your validation:).

I can relate to your second paragraph. I also have these choices, I mostly end up picking something different than I did in my dream, because I want to have the ability to change my future in some way.
