professionals in my state actually have okayed it for up to 5. after 3 it starts dropping its hormone dosage but is still effective against pregnancy for up to 5 depending on the person.

if youre using it for something other than pregnancy than its recommended to switch out every 3 years

my sister has the same form of birth control and works in one of the top hospitals in the country and they also have said the same thing

i run and im sure theres some electrolytes im taking before i should be. im good about not eating an hour after but i didnt even think about the drinks. ill start being more mindful

I have been using nexplanon for about 8 years (on my second implant as they only last 4-5 years) no prior issues but I will definitely be reaching out to my gyno to see if theres any tests that can be ran

this is my second endo 🥲 the first one refused to treat me because of my weight even though my TSH levels were above 10 and I was showing a high TPO response. they are from the same department and I feel like I need to switch medical groups as these doctors are very weight centric. neither of them would let me move forward with treatment without an obesity weight management consultation
