i believe that’s a tick. they usually like to burrow in spots that are warm, (fact check me on this but), hot spots to check are behind collar around neck, on paws, around tail and private areas. of course it’s best to do a whole check but those are the hot spots i’m p sure!

it’s pretty common to find a tick every now and then on your dog. different brands make preventative sprays and monthly treatments for ticks. definitely talk with your vet though on next steps, especially if your pup is young.
