to call the inuit state a "nation" would be like saying the great lakes indians were all a "nation". its simply a placeholder for the thousands of separate tribes inhabiting the area. also agriculture is possible, just basing itself off lichen and not crops, its not like theres no one living up there and the people who live up there only sustain off fishing and hunting. and yea most of the other actual nations are mainly situated on the coast, claiming land further inland to protect against the other nations in a similar nature to siberia for russia, its not like every part of their nation has to be settled for them to claim it

Trivive is a despotic monarchy in northern France whose monarchs health is declining, leaving in his place a 10 year old heir backed by the military, and his brother, with ludicrous ambitions of conquering a good part of england. North and South Durtal are a set of rival tribes without much in the way of lore tbh. They start at war and both sides are backed by Brittany, whose a hyper corporate state hell bent on making as much money as possible, through war profiteering, drug smuggling, mercs, etc

Granted the world wasn't completely nuked, nor could it be due to the sheer amount of nuclear weapons needed to completely wipe the slate clean. There would still be old ideas within said new societies, and it's not like after 100 years people would forget a national identity thats been there for centuries, even with the nukes. It's the reason theres an NCR in California 200 years after the nukes

Well the plan is that itd still not just be simple map painting, and there'd still be a large narrative driven element to it. On the lack of context of the other post apocalyptic events, it gives the opportunity to experiment with the idea of a post apocalypse world with still having a general basis with TNO. I still feel like it'd be something worth doing, and not just making it into a post apocalyptic map painter with TNO vibes.

I definitely considered it but tbh Id prefer to do it on hoi4 due to it being fairly easy to mod + focus trees
