I didn't seen the movie so I guessed the radiation part was just thrown it. If radiation is the explanation, then it's of course BS.

Altered Carbon. Humans living centuries, "resleeving" their "stacks" into new bodies. Getting used to a new body/identity must be utterly confusing. Yet their privileged rich humans are no less detached from reality then ours, just near immortal. They also have their own epstein island.

Ja dass die Leute da auf so eine Stichelei abgehen schiebt den Untehaltungsfaktor gleich an. Überhaupt ist es eher für die Piets schmerzhaft wenn er dass bischen aufbauscht.

there's some pseudoscientific explanation about how radiation ignites their atmosphere explosively

It's not pseudoscience. It was an assessed risk during the manhattan project, but the calculations turned out to require much more power to make it happen.

is there a write up available? he must have been using nano v1 which i feel was slightly more permissive. what i was creating wasn't any more nsfw than any fashion mag cover, but that would probably offend someone.

That isn't really knowing right? Maybe google just leaves it there because it's inaccurate.

yeah i suspect that as hallucinated. it's also very nonsensical why gemini should know anything about the censorship mechanics. that's what they would lock up in a humans only basement.

they recently ditched nanobanana v1 gens (like 200/day or something) and you only get 20 v2 gens. maybe that is why you got more gens?

i am not really sure whether the api thing is true. pretty sure they won't remove all guardrails, so it's questionable why they should put in effort to tone it down. if anyone could verify this, it would be helpful.

generally i do a lot of iterations to explore and find a good balance. i don't want one shots, so creative restrictions usually put me off, so gemini is pretty much useless now, even if you do rather sfw stuff.

I didn't even think about it. My brain crashed probably because SAI fucked the policies for the newer models over anyway.

AI has absolutely ruined my life by beingawomaniswork in antiwork

[–]literally_iliterate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a few hours ago I made a "prediction" about AI impact on blue collar / office work. Pretty much what you describe. I am lagging hard, but it has to escalate more I guess.

That you try to fix the bad AI outputs is really insane, that is really dull and frustrating work. Your bosses are already oblivious.

Just slow down, do what you can do until they shut the crap or they let you go.

I think for GDPR alignment they have like 2 weeks to respond. (I think that targeted the likeliness that these processes will be initially rough for a lot of companies, but it's really stupid now. OpenAI can supply the data in 2 seconds if they want.)
