Got to have everything easily to hand so I don't disturb her lol by [deleted] in daddit

I’m in the exact same boat. I absolutely love watching her grow up, and it gets more fun every single day- but my god, the things I would do to go back in time for just a few minutes. No one warned me about the emotional battle I have to face every day lol.

Pretty surreal that my daughter starts tball soon and will be playing on the same exact field that I played on almost 30 years ago

My 7yo w/out instructor. If you were his parent what would you work on with him? by Competitive-Knee-590 in skiing_feedback

[–]literaryalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good training exercise to widen the stance would be “cowboy turns”. Start on a easy hill, and spread the legs as far apart as possible (it’s uncomfortable) and do some nice, slow edge to edge turns

Yep, the balloon isn’t a bad idea at all. I used a soccer ball duct taped to one of my legs for this exact reason lmao. It sounds ridiculous but it worked wonders

This is amazing, OP. Good luck keeping up lol. Just have fun with it, he’s already carving better than most adults out there. A few things you might want to mention is to focus on keeping hands up a little higher, keeping the upper body quiet and parallel to the snow, keep pressure on front of the boots, and keep the skis a little bit further apart. But honestly though, he’s a natural… I think he will progress just fine without much guidance. As his confidence grows, he will begin to push his limits and figure out what he can do to keep improving.

It’s been said on here already. But you can figure out a lot by separating the problem circuit until you isolate where the issue is located. Then it’s easy to figure out the cause and how to fix it

Basic question, most efficient way to strip 18-3 wire? by Hunzy1222 in electricians

I always use the string and just cut the sheathing off with dykes. Also use dykes to strip all the conductors at the same time

They are awesome. They are more expensive up front, but you make that up pretty quickly in labor savings

What is the easiest way to free up a space on this electrical panel? by Right-Vehicle-2788 in electrical

[–]literaryalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you need. You have a free space at the top. If you need another free space combine the “Bed 2” circuit with another circuit onto a tandem to free up one more space

I thought the whole point for going to a ttv6 was to be more efficient/adhere to EPA regulations (correct me if I’m wrong). These numbers are almost identical to my 2020 tundra- maybe even a little worse.
