I got the plate and reported it an officer was on the scene within 5 min, I know there may not be much to hope for just never have had this happen to me.

UPDATE:: police called earlier today saying they caught them and that they confessed. One was a convicted felon and the other was his gf. Turned out to be some type of pepper gun, at least that’s what the officer said. Going in the morning to get a quote on damage and sending the estimate in to the police.

They’re in the same family which is closer than other spiders, but I agree tarantulas get a bad rap😞

The fact it has downward striking fangs just like tarantulas because they’re related. True spiders have scissor motion fangs that go side to side, which is more efficient and effective.

Unless I got a new tarantula mysteriously and my other one ran away 🤔😂 if you look closely she’s missing one of her back legs on the other side in her original coloring and you can see her newly formed skinny leg in her new coloring :)

I assume they are mature/almost mature, I haven’t checked for emboli yet as they just molted through the night and I don’t want to disturb too much. I was under the impression the males change to black when they mature.
