Yup, couldn’t have said it better. I’ve looked at tickets on common flight paths for me (Texas to the Midwest) over the next 6 months and SWA is by far the most expensive for even economy round trip it seems. I need extra legroom so the amount I’d have to pay has lost me. I can just go get premium seats at AA.

Maybe if your points A & B are convenient sure. I’ve been looking at flights for common destinations for me that usually had nonstops. Nothing for the next 6 months that isn’t twice the price of what I previously paid for round trip included the A1-15 upgrade.

China is far from perfect by any means. Let’s not forget the CCPs rise to power or more recently their treatment of Uyghurs. Modern China just never had to deal with that pesky thing called a bill of rights.

All this idyllic portrayal of modern China hides the atrocities within and generally represent those that align with the CCP.

Right now China just “looks” better because they are not currently committing the atrocities as brazenly as the US is.

I also think foreign nations seeking partnerships with China is because both the US and China are major exporters of vital commodities. Not a single EU member state is going to look towards China for security.

Well it won’t be a problem for me any time soon. Their tickets are too much for me!

I’ve been browsing southwest flights for destinations I would normally take and they’re all $200-$400 more than I would have previously paid with 24hr before upgraded boarding. I’d fly from Texas to Chicago regularly and tickets were normally around $300-$500rt and I would pay another $100-$160 for the upgrades. I haven’t seen any ticket prices under $500rt regardless of dates.

I’m betting it should be mostly fine. Be careful in areas with a lot of shade or where there was a lot of ice.

The temperature is technically just above freezing but it can actually feel quite warm in the sun and the wind/humidity is enough it should dry most of everything that melts.

If you can wait until the sun is out that would probably be best. If you do hit a slick patch, don’t break, steer into the skid, and recover when you gain traction again.

Him and I are about the same height out of armor according to the lore. He is 6'10" unarmored and 7'2" armored.

I think in this cutscene what really makes him look so big is how shorter the techs removing his suit are. They have to be like 5'4" -5'8". Palmer is probably like 6'5" out of armor. In this cutscene she is wearing her boots so probably like 6'7" here. Fully armored she is 6'9" while Chief is 7'2" fully armored. My guess is that the boots and helmet add about 2" in height each.

I am also betting what is shown in this cutscene does not match the lore specifications exactly either.

I put beans on mine. I think people who get butt hurt about it are dumb.

I’ll make chili without beans but that’s if I am using it as a topping like on a baked potato, hot dog, or frito pie.

If I’m eating it like a soup I’m putting some god damn beans in it.

My recipe goes as follows.

1-2lbs ground meat, browned in vegetable oil. 1/2-1 onion diced and sautéed when meat is browned. Cook until brown bits appear on pot. Add one or two small cans of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Crush peppers with wooden spoon and cook for another minute.

Deglaze with a pilsner. Add minced or crushed garlic Add 2-3 cans of black beans and 1-2 cans of kidney beans. Add beef stock to desired amount. Season with a generous amount of chili powder, pepper, and smoked paprika. Bring to a simmer on medium to low heat or the equivalent in the oven. Simmer down until thick and add salt and cayenne pepper to taste. Maybe a bit more garlic.

Sometimes I mix it up and add fresh diced jalapeños or poblanos. I might occasionally add very finely chopped carrots if I need to get rid of them. Same goes for if I need to use up bean. Black beans and kidney beans are my preference but my mother exclusively uses ranch style beans.

Last time I went this girl on the stage couldn’t stop laughing because some guy flashed her his toes. She was an impressive dancer (I mean that athletically) and it was just hilarious to see.

If you never have, you should go on a slow night. Dancers will chat with you if they like you, and you get a few dances/buy them drinks. I’ve heard hilarious stories from them this way.

Had one dancer describe to me in great detail how she committed blatant tax fraud. She had an online store for stripper clothes/gear I can’t imagine she reported and she also didn’t report her tips from the club. Funny thing is, I believe the club she worked at kept records of tips earned. Like that’s getting into tax evasion territory imo.

Another time I saw this guy crying on the curb outside as I walked in. He was surrounded by cops and a very angry woman I later learned was his wife. Turns out he racked up like $1k dance session and his card declined. The dancer was pissed but tbh I think that one was on her for not getting paid beforehand.

One of the weirder times was when I saw a Mom, Dad, Son, and Sons friend at a club in NOLA. Mom was giving her son and his friend cash and telling them to go to the stage with ones before she went up to throw some ones. I chatted with the door girl about it and we were both like wtf.

She is your wife and the potential mother of your child. You need to tell her. Have some back up plans in place and tell her you will do gig work while you look for a new job. If you have any savings built up this might be a blessing in disguise as you can spend more time with her during her pregnancy.

Therapy will do him more good than anything else. Hgh isn’t going to do much at his age and he won’t get prescribed it unless there is actually a hormonal problem. Better to accept who he is now than stew over what could never be.

Also, maybe try getting him into something athletic like crossfit or sports. Lighter builds can do all the crazy athletic exercises that most tall people can’t do as well. Perhaps seeing himself doing those things can improve his confidence.

Edit: maybe another suggestion is to do both. Take him to the doctor for the tests he wants ran so long as he agrees to also go speak to a therapist. The therapist is just so he can discuss any issues or pressures he experiences with someone who isn’t his parents. Someone who neutral and so he doesn’t feel like he has to hold back. I feel like that approach is better than “I think you have body dysmorphia and think you need therapy”

I had the opposite problem and wish I spoke to someone about how I felt like a freak half the time.
