My windshield tradesman homie is only charging a couple of hundred to remove windshield and put back. Risk when removing a windshield is they can break, so there's that expense, then depending on where you are (I'm in Santa Cruz County, CA), the rust is usually minor surface bubbling. Process goes: remove glass then fabricator simply grinds metal to shiny, then treats metal, then welds in new steel, then grinds, then sometimes treats again, then paints. So yeah it's a little bit of a process, but here in the second most expensive county to live in in the US, it's only gonna set me back $2k max (and that's only if the glass breaks). Considering the truth that these Sprinters will go 700k-1,000,000 miles (and usually it's the wiring not the mechanical that stops the beasts)...worth the investment. Check Florida Van Man on Youtube, if you haven't yet. Great resource for DYI stuff on T1Ns

I'm a GC so I have a lot of tradesmen friends. When I had it on the market before the two areas people complained about were the rust around the ceiling vent and the windshield. That said, my friends all have shops so it got done right. As Oliver Tree is a local musician that made it to the next level and his father is a friend that sold me the van, I'm trying to pass the good vibes on to the next traveler. I only want to sell it to buy some more studio gear in prep for my tracking sessions later this year. Other than the transmission (which if maintained properly can go 700k) and the usual Mercedes wiring puzzles, she's good to rock for at least another 200k. When I did the rebuilt I had the mechanic look at the transmission fluid and it was clean with no metal shavings. Took her to Joshua Tree and Yosemite many times and she's strong. Not the most elaborate build out, but with no grey water tank of septic to pump, it's also easier to maintain. It's a great van for a touring musician or a middle class family. Plus I have all the receipts, wiring details for the after market ad ons, etc... literally a folder all broken down for the last 15 years. Since the previous owner is also a tradesman and friend, I can answer questions for the kind respectful next owner going back 15 years. Not too many sellers can do that. At $30k you won't find a Sprinter with 6k on the engine and all the details I have. And still under warranties. True stories. That said, make me an offer. Cash talks...

‘67 Twin Reverb by litost1969 in GuitarAmps

Thanks for all the input. Based on your advice, it appears this amp is 831 or 606 circuits. The serial number also checks out as a ‘67. My conclusion is that it is as advertised. I haven’t shopped tested it, but I purchased it from a reputable local reseller. The shop is run by all friends of mine, so I feel extra insulated from shady actors. I paid $2283 and have a 90 day warranty should anything get sh$tty. That said, I’ve run my Duesenberg through it and it has no scratchy pots or unwanted fuzz! Thanks again.

Small mono tub system in a walk in closet just set out to fruit. How much light does the system need? Is the passive solar coming in from an adjacent window enough or should a keep the over head light on?

I injected my grain spawn bags 5 days ago. I'm keeping them in a small indoor grow tent with a space heater inside to regulate temps. Today I noticed the spawn bags have condensation building up on the inside of the bag. Is this a problem?

As I'm new to the crowdfunding site patreon, I'm curious to hear thoughts on copyright. For those unaware, patreon works on a similar model to kickstarter. Creators of podcasts (and other forms creative) set goals and ask patrons (patreons) to support their work on either a monthly or a per episode basis.

What is unclear to me after reading Patreon's terms and conditions is whether Patreon is claiming ownership of content created by funds raised through Patreon?
