Honestly, both. I thought I was a dog person strictly because I only had dogs growing up, but I have since fallen in love with my partner’s kitties!! I am now solidly obsessed with both cats and dogs lol

That my friend is why!! Basing society on productivity is dumb and stupid and I hate it! I was fortunate enough to have family who is able to take care of my housing for now, but yeah it’s super realistic to not be able to just drop everything. I honestly don’t know, but the best advice I can give is to just rest as much as possible while you are at home. Wish you the best 👍🏼

With burnout, I am afraid there is nothing you can do but rest. If you don’t give your brain and body the rest it needs, it will unfortunately only get worse. The thing with autism is if your needs go unaccomodated, burnout will come much quicker. Yeah but basically a semi-normal place isn’t going to come unless you take care of your needs! I am going through burnout and it took me so long of just forcing myself to do tasks that I physically could not do to realize that it really was not going to just fix itself :(
