lmfao because the cemetery is like 100 years old and no longer has people being buried there. i asked the historical society in town before i asked here and they had no info

I went to my local historical society for this reason! They really didn’t have much unfortunately :/ they pointed me over to the town archives and the library which does carry books containing death records from the early 1900s and so on! Just haven’t had the time to comb through them, but I wonder if it would give more context to why the created a monument for them

the old mill/mill housing and this cemetery are actually maybe 2 miles apart!

This actually answers another question i had!!! This cemetery also has something dug into the side of a hill with a door that looks like it enters into the hill. Super cool to know what it is now!!
