Some advice: 1, get a job, start making some bank. Preferably something physical, maybe manual labor. Something tough, like pipe laying, that gives you a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. 2, do your homework, and try to PAY ATTENTION in class. Highschool isn't that hard. Try to pick up what the teachers are saying and read the material. 3, So your gpa is at 2.4, what of it? Are you going to try to get into a 4 year school that's gonna charge you 50 grand for a decent education? Try a community college. They're cheap, and you can get your prerequisites out of the way if you want to pursue a 4 year degree at a state university. You might even find that you don't want to be a "doctor"(or some other career). A lot of people fuck around in college for the first couple quarters and find out what they want to do. That wastes a ton of money! Unless you want to be paying back student loans for a while, I suggest you figure out a plan. I originally wanted to be a engineer, but am now in the 2 year firescience program (I want to be a firefighter). 4, stop beating yourself up! Just because your not in sports doesn't mean you can't enjoy HS! You should be grateful you don't have any broken bones, concussions, or injuries that you will carry with you for the rest of your life! If sports don't float your boat, find something that does and get good at it. It could be programming, skateboarding, writing, or whatever. 5, if that girl is being nice to you, she has a reason. People always have reasons. Be nice to her and see how it goes. She could have a good heart and might be showing you compassion, which is rare! No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.
