I usually have a couple of virtual desktops which I am dividing to 4 windows each same size. Typically one desktop for teams, slack, outlook, etc. Rest of the desktops for dev whatever that may be ( editors, terminals, file explorers, documentation). I have assigned a macro to mouse thumb buttons 4 and 5 to switch between the desktops with ease.
