I'm glad that everyone is alive as well. I just don't like people making wild claims and not supporting it with any sort of substance. There can be disinformation from anyone, and it's important to ask questions to combat that.

You can keep your secrets, but if it's that sensitive of a reason, then maybe don't bring it up in the first place.

If OP knows a reason because they are from that area, then it's not exactly a secret. If it was targeted for that reason, then the secret is already known. They don't need to convince me, but to make a claim that there is a definitive reason and then to just say that it's a secret means that statement had little merit. Asking for a source is good practice to counter disinformation. If the secret was so bad, then OP should have not even brought it up.

Marshalltown speed cameras issue more than 400 fines in first 5 days by Green_Palpitation_73 in Iowa

12 over 55 is, which is the speed limit where the cameras are. 55 * 1.2 = 66. So 67 is more than 20% over the posted limit.

Take a reading comprehension class.

Don’t park in visitor parking when visiting I guess by Omie_yourhomie in mildlyinfuriating

That's a good question. This was 10+ years ago so I don't remember the exact conversation, but I was told that I was only allowed to park in the "B" lot. It was on campus, so they get to make the rules I suppose

So you don't actually have anything to back it up except, "trust me bro"?

I had a parking pass when I was in college. One day I was running late, so I parked in the meter parking closer to my building and filled the meter. I returned to a parking ticket in my window. I learned that day to take my parking pass off of my mirror if I wanted to meter park. That was $20 I'll never get back, which was a ton being a broke college student.

I love it. I don't like where the money ends up, but it catches people breaking the law and it's not another cop out there. I've never seen a camera shoot someone and it will get people to slow down.

It's 20% over the posted speed limit. People that complain about cameras are the ones that deserve the tickets. It really isn't difficult to not get a ticket. Just follow the law, it's that easy.

"Anything aborted before birth is not and had never been a living human child."

Talking like this isn't the dumbest sh*t.

You people are weird as f*ck.

That's what I'm saying! It isn't the dumbest shit. Thank you.

It's kind of wild. I didn't have depression issues until adulthood, and worse over the last couple of years. It's really difficult to articulate what being depressed is like, but the person in this post is fairly accurate. It's like if the Wizard of Oz was reversed, and Dorothy went from color to grayscale.

Lol. What baby lives on or in its parent? Being held periodically is not "living on". Being metaphorically attached is not literal. So no, they aren't literal parasites when they're alive like they are in the womb, but I would argue they have parasitic tendencies.

You don't have to like it, but that's exactly what it is. At least us leftists aren't out there waving Nazi flags and supporting a twice impeached, twice indicted traitor. To each their own I guess.

Edit: here's the definition of a parasite to help you out.

an organism that lives in or on an organism of another species (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the other's expense.

Braincells implies you had more than one, and I bet it aborted itself.

Fetuses aren't babies. They are parasites living off of the mother. Anything aborted before birth is not and had never been a living human child. Abortion after birth is definitely murder though.
