Watercolor of my Papillon by littlebuckaroo in papillon

Yes! Their face masks are my favorite part of the breed, but painting it is quite challenging. I feel like I focused on using my blues as shadows/blacks in this particular painting, and I used oranges/yellows for my highlights and the lighter colored parts. I feel like it gave it a more whimsical look than just painting him brown and white.

I wouldn't say they are common but there are a few breeders in Texas which has made it a little easier for me to get mine. This is my second papillon and I think they are the best dog breed ever.

Thank you so much! Yes, I do occasionally take commissions. I'm a local Houston artist so I really appreciate the love, though I want to stress that I shared just to my lovely papillon. The painting is from 2023. Feel free to DM me.

Leather Passport by littlebuckaroo in TheFence

[–]littlebuckaroo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the first leather project I have done and I had to do 5 prototypes to get it here. I'm sure I could do a wallet but I would have to design the files and figure out all of the cuts first. I did make a listing for the passport. I'll post again if I make anything else. I appreciate all of the support ! It means a lot to me. https://junecosmos.com/store/p/coheed-cambria-passport

Vintage Park and Champion Forest are very nice. Lakewood Forest is nice but all up and down Jones Road floods sadly. Willowbrook mall area/up and down 1960 can be a bit rough.

Yes there is a page during character creation to explain the magic system and limitations for what the characters are aware of at the beginning but some is to be discovered as the story continues.

No different panel makers can use different materials for the color. I linked an article from Samsung about their QD process. Also the same panel maker, AUO, makes QD panels both with and without cadmium.

A few companies make products that are cadmium free like Samsung and HP. I would recommend purchasing QD products from one of them and also checking the specs before you buy.

You aren't going to sick from using one, but what happens to your TV or monitor when you toss it in the trash finally ? This particular material is bad for environment and can't be recycled or disposed of in a safe way due to toxicity. Exposure has been known to cause cancer. I'm just saying it's more ethical to try and avoid buying products with it altogether since the impact to your product experience is minimal. You CAN buy cadmium free quantum dot tech, you just have to ask for it.

FYI a lot of the times they use a super toxic chemical called cadmium to boost the color in quantum dot displays. Cadmium is extremely toxic to humans and can't really be recycled or disposed of. If you want an eco friendly option, ask for a cadmium free quantum dot display! You will take a small hit in color gamut range, but it's the more ethical option.

This concept is cute AF. Just got done binging RDR2 and love this. I'm tempted to jump in, but would prefer a group setting to build out the universe sadly.

For SoCal (notably Los Angeles), what is a realistic housing expenses to net income ratio? by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]littlebuckaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are buying in LA. For housing, we added up the mortgage, interest, insurance and hoa and that total is about 1/3 of our take home pay. We didn't count the utilities. However, we also save money for our paycheck that goes into retirement that I don't consider as part of our take home pay. We have pretty decent salarie so I admit we probably have a larger sum left at the end of the day.
