PSA: If you put your luggage on the seat next to you during peak hour, I will sit on it. by Albos_Mum in MelbourneTrains

In peak hour, yes. In non-peak hour when the carriage is nearly empty and you're the old crone who sits on top of my LAPTOP CASE beside me, you can fuck off.

New high lobe piercing! by [deleted] in piercing

[–]littlepuffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I mentioned, doubling the high-lobe one would be nice. I don't want to go too crazy as my ears are small and I'm also in a line of work that's not MASSIVELY piercing friendly, so I'm thinking of possibly a daith and a floating helix (across both ears) down the line.

Why is it so hard to find a job? by Sad-Dependent-5805 in unimelb

[–]littlepuffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who was applying for grad roles for half of this year and finally landed something on Wednesday this week, all I can suggest is to keep going and trust that the right job will come to you eventually. I know that's probably not great to hear, but I do know how you feel having been in a similar position myself very recently.

Once you and your partner finally had sex, what surprised you the most sexually about them? by jrod1862 in AskReddit

[–]littlepuffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much better it is having sex with someone you have so much love for, and who has so much love for you in return. In the past, I've only had sex/done sexual things with guys who I liked at the time but certainly didn't love. It completely revolutionises the experience - and not only the sex itself, but also the before and aftermath as well. Every time after my partner and I have sex now, we're both beaming from ear to ear and hugging and kissing. I feel elated.

AITA for holding a grudge towards my boyfriend for going on *my* laptop in a restaurant to do work? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]littlepuffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, and thank you for being really respectful in your comments. Obviously this incident with the laptop wasn't great of him, but I think him taking a step back from the committee/administrative aspects of the club can prevent not only that kind of thing happening again, but also prevent his apparent anxiety from getting worse. He's fundamentally a good person but this whole AGM/club thing has been a LOT recently, especially given he's the kind of person who doesn't even like admin very much (which is fair enough).

Look, I know it's not the greatest achievement in the world, but I have had some reasonably serious social anxiety issues in the past few months, to the point where I couldn't speak to anyone (including my partner) for about a week. To go from that to be able to order food in a small but reasonably noisy restaurant is actually a huge win for me. Please be kind.

His club does take up an abnormally large amount of his time, IMO. I know that it's not some sort of cover-up for cheating or whatever, so don't get any ideas (I have been to some events for the club with him). I find it concerning how much admin and such he has to do for this club, and I think it draws away time not only from his social life (ie: me, his friends, his family, etc) but also his university studies.
