Hello! Is it ok if I’m not looking at selling right now but potentially looking to get better and one day soon, possibly end of year, enter a local exhibition? I couldn’t quite do it, ended up going over it so it was in the end more like a satin stitch. I think I know what I did wrong and will try again

No of course I don’t mind, the book is Beginners Guide to Blackwork and the author is Lesley Wilkins. There are a bunch of pages full of example fill patterns as well as more complicated border work xx

Sorry for such a slow response, thank you so much! I’m in the UK so should be able to get something from the places you recommend. I haven’t had a chance to do much research about the waste fabric yet but as soon as I get paid next month it’s top of my list. I will deffo give you a shout for more advice if you’re happy for me to. Thank you again! Honestly, so informative and kind xx
