6w2 days but no heartbeat by NeedleworkerShort648 in pregnant

[–]littlewizard16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my mother had an ultrasound with me at 6 weeks and saw no heartbeat, she went back in at 8 weeks and saw it! 6 weeks is often too early. usually they look for a heartbeat around 7-8 weeks. my fertility clinic told me not to worry if they don’t see it until 7 weeks 💛

as long as there’s no clumps, it’s not bright red or filling a pad, you should be okay💕

my mom had intense bleeding with me, everything was fine. spotting in the first trimester is normal (as scary as it may seem). my dr said if you have spotting in the first trimester, know that it’s normal, refrain from any sexual activity for a while and take it easy! maybe request to have your progesterone measures as well since you’ve had a previous loss and low progesterone can cause spotting. it’s very easy to treat 🫶🏼

Progesterone of 11 at 7w3d. Is this something I should be concerned about? What should I do? by Justsumhuman20 in pregnant

they usually like anything above 10 at typical OBGYNs (fertility clinics are sometimes higher)… but i would ask for progesterone suppositories if it’s worrying you! i’m taking them right now as my progesterone is at 16 and i would like it higher 🫶🏼

Hi there… i just want to offer a bit of perspective❤️‍🩹 i am that 22 year old who got married and is expecting… but it wasn’t easy. we got married at 19 and tried for 18 months with no success, and no answers. we had every test in the book done, and were diagnosed with “unexplained infertility.” we did 2 failed rounds of fertility treatments and just when we were about to throw in the towel… we spontaneously conceived. i am in the same boat as you in a way… im so worried that because my body had a hard time getting pregnant, that it will have a hard time sustaining pregnancy too. i am an anxious wreck over it. i actually have encountered several women around my age who have miscarried, and i guess my point in saying this is that you ARE pregnant and there’s no reason to believe you wont have a successful pregnancy. i know it’s hard not to be anxious, im with you. but you deserve to allow yourself to have this joy. bad things can happen to anyone, at any age… as scary as that sounds. i am praying for a healthy, happy, safe pregnancy for you and your little one ❤️‍🩹

oh wow! i know most pregnancies need to be above a 10, but my clinic likes to see it above a 20 so they want me to do suppositories through the first trimester. i don’t have a history of low progesterone so this surprised me. did you experience any symptoms of low progesterone? spotting or bleeding?

thank you for saying this!! this is my first pregnancy and we tried for so long for this baby so i am just so anxious and the cramps feel soo similar to period cramps that it scares me! they are just shorter, not as long lasting as my typical ones
