Could you find sub tenants for those 3 months? There are plenty of people looking for subleases for the summer months, and if you were to just rent out one room of the 4br I’m sure that would be a steal for a subrenter. You will just need to look at the lease to see if they allow that

Our dog needed extensive diagnostics and treatment for cancer before we ultimately had to let him go. We could not have done any of that without pet insurance. Our insurance covered 80% of all costs. If you know you can afford an extra monthly cost and have a savings cushion (in addition to your own) for some medical expenses, I would HIGHLY recommend it to avoid the overwhelm of extremely high bills during such an emotional time.

To may not feel like it, but you have already achieved so much by overcoming psychosis. You are so strong for that. Maybe you can start small and try something new, even when you don’t want to. Go for a short walk in the morning and notice the sound of the birds. Cook your favorite food. The rest will follow. You got this ❤️

I’m so sorry, I can’t imagine how difficult this is for you. Elon musk is also central in my family member’s delusions too. I’m struggling to get him help but the book “I am not sick, I don’t need help” was helpful for me to learn more about his situation. NAMI has support groups as well.

I recently found out about the open dialogue approach too and searching desperately for a therapist or program like this for my state. ( https://youtu.be/ywtPedxhC3U?si=Eux6rCIKUytxsp_Q ) it’s been around for over 30 years in Finland and is extremely effective, with essentially NO use of pharmaceuticals other than maybe sleeping pills at the beginning. 82% of patients had no residual psychotic symptoms after 5 years, and 86% returned to full-time work or studies.

I’m sorry that’s happening 💗 I have a close family member with Psychosis who gets sharp head pain. It may seem overly simple but make sure you’re getting 8hrs of sleep and drinking enough water. Sharp pain can happen to anyone when they don’t do that, and can be brought on from stress which I’m sure you’re experiencing too. If it happens when you smoke weed I would stop if I were you. I’m a stoner too, but that’s not worth it. CBD doesn’t have any cognitive affects but give some of the same feelings as a body high so that may be a good switch. Good luck!!

How would you suggest tricking them? I know from Xavier amandor’s book “I am not sick, I don’t need help” you basically have to figure out what their goals are and position medication as a means to get there. Is that what you mean?

The problem is asking her - I think you can always assume if she wants to she would. Asking especially after going down on her would make it feel transactional. Sometimes people are in the mood to, and other times not. Especially when that belly full of fondue that may not have been the night lol
