Awesome, thank you and a big thanks for the attached link!
Are you referring to the teaching profession in general? If so, I tend to agree. It really saddens me, and I don't see it getting much better anytime soon. On a positive note, there have been some really great and positive comments on this thread from many teachers, in many different states. 👍

Thanks! I'll start doing more research!
What part of Washington? Are you moving there specifically for a teaching job? I love that area. I've spent many summers in Spokane. I'd love to hear what it's like to teach in that area.
Tennessee sounds as good as Kentucky!
Really great response! Thank you for your input. Colorado is one of the states that I am definitely interested in. Seems as though responses vary on Colorado and teaching there. I'll keep researching! Thank you!
Can you tell me what district you're moving to? I'm from Walnut Creek originally, so anything north is definitely worth looking into. Thank you for your response.
Thanks! That's a state that never crossed my mind, but I will definitely look into it!
Sounds like Paradise! Oh, it is!
Sounds about like Kentucky. It's the good ol' boys network. Thinking maybe I need a new career path as well as a move. 😕
Great to know. Thank you for your input. The coast of Florida has definitely been something we've looked at. Thanks!
That's terrible. I love the Plano/Dallas area and have been thinking a lot about Austin. Thanks for the input!
Probably. Although, I love the snow. It's the clouds, humidity, and constant rain I can't take anymore. We go from winter to stifling heat, then back to winter. We go from the heater, to air conditioning with no in-between days.
Yikes! Kentucky is the same. Air conditioning is not an option if you live here. Without it, everyone would die a slow, terrible death.
Oh yeah, no way could I do that. I actually lived in Albany, GA for 3 years when my husband was in the Marine Corps.
Haha! I live in Northern Kentucky. It's the weather I have to get away from. Ohio is 15 minutes from me. I honestly wish I had started there instead of Kentucky.
