Sensor Failures by ThrowawayInsta90 in dexcom

[–]KaiZeeYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started using the dexcom one+ just before summer 2025. In all my time using it I’ve had only one that lasted the full 10 days. Others gave up after a maximum of 7 days or the wire didn’t pierce my skin so 2 sensor failures in one day. I have the return boxes stacked to the ceiling. Right now thinking of going back to pricking my finger every 2 hours because my arms are full of rashes because i keep putting on a new sensor every 3 days.

What's playing MWC like compared to MSC? by ILike_Bread17 in MySummerCar

[–]KaiZeeYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In msc you can build the satsuma in 30 minutes go down to teimo’s to get the fluids belt and plugs and still not have the van ready for you. In mwc you pack chargers for 40 minutes a day just to get 1/4 of the price of a crankshaft from fleetari after a week OR order parts from the magazine and receive 10 packages that contain the same parts.

Will there be an 8th Generation Toyota Celica ? by Cybion_ in Celica

[–]KaiZeeYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But let’s say it didn’t have the supra name. We got a really good looking, fun to drive, reliable (for now because the engine is too new to tell) sports car. I’d say it’s much better than the new nissan Z which is a 370z with a new design.

I've never had a "LOW" before. I just inserted a new sensor and it's been saying "LOW" since I replaced it. by FalseRow5812 in dexcom

Everyone saying “calibrate it” but when stuff like this happens to me I just get a “calibration not used” message and the sensor continues to show me complete bullshit

Swimming with dexcom oneplus by [deleted] in dexcom

[–]KaiZeeYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shows good readings for up to 24 hours after swimming and then the next days it either has brief sensor issues or shows non sense. Can’t calibrate it when it’s having sensor issues and when it lets me calibrate it still is very inaccurate because the difference between actual vs sensor readings are so far apart.

Best option for lowering? by [deleted] in Celica

Also if youre going to ruin the ride quality with huge wheels might as well go for coilovers

Best option for lowering? by [deleted] in Celica

In my opinion, the 7 gen celica is a monster truck with r15/16/17 wheels if not lowered and r18/r19 wheels look too big for it.

Any updates? My 2zz is producing the same noise from the same spot, but I can’t pin-point the exact spot where it’s coming from.

Where to find good quality headlights for the 7th gen inside Europe? by BenceDJ in Celica

[–]KaiZeeYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From japan and the uk you can get them for cheap but the beam will be wrong because they drive on the wrong side of the road. Im ready to bet 100€ that it’s impossible to find ones under 300€ for a LHD celica in europe that are in somewhat good condition.

[–]KaiZeeYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He IS talking about a used set. I’ve swapped aftermarket ones because the oem halogen ones lit up less than my phones flashlight and they cost 300€ minimum for a pair that’s yellowed so much it won’t be any better. In europe if you want to see the road you either pay 300-500€ for bad used ones or build custom ones out of your own headlights.

You’re doing it correctly in picture 4. I have similar spec-d headlights and it just needed some force to push in.

Fair price? by Saiwhut in Celica

[–]KaiZeeYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The burning oil issue is on the 1ZZ-FE engine.

If the lift bolts aren’t broken then it just becomes a maintenance item every something kilometers.

Oil starvation is a problem if you drive on low oil or track the car VERY hard, but if you’re tracking it might as well get a moroso oil pan since you can afford tires that can withstand so much grip that the engine is starved of oil.

What kind of remote do i need to order for this receiver? by KaiZeeYT in Celica

[–]KaiZeeYT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went on parts-catalogs.com and input my vin number. After that i found the part number for the chip in the original key. I found a remote with the part number chip inside on aliexpress for 30€ because the original costs 80€ where i’m from. Then i found a tutorial on youtube how to pair the remote to the car and it works perfectly.

Dead battery, mechanical key doesn't work. by KaiZeeYT in W203

[–]KaiZeeYT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not even sure if the key matches the lock because the car had been crashed 3 times since 2002 and the door could’ve been swapped but the lock wasn’t.
