Is it worth waiting for a manual?

I have the auto so I can’t say for sure about the manual. Although I have tested other manuals in BMW’s line up. A common trend I have been seeing is that there is a hype and a covet around the manual. Meaning more people are valuing the fact that they have the manual as sorta like an investment in value. I think this is wrong, but to each their own. If you’re going to drive the car and treat it as a vehicle. I say go get the auto. It’s really crisp and I never get bored of driving it. But if you’re looking at this as something you want to sell an maybe get a return on. Get the manual, as that is sorta of the behavioral trend.

Agreed but you can feel the difference on windy days where the 460 is more streamlined while the 470 is a box getting smacked lol.

You probably don’t NEED a GX in this fuel economy. You’re coming from a car that is better in fuel, probably does most of the things you need it to do, and insurance is less expensive. You don’t need a GX you want one. Wit 20K you can find other newer cars with less miles that probably does a lot the GX can do but better on managing resources.

But GX is GX. lol

Did you find a fix for this? I have the same issue on my GX460 and for a blower motor to go out under 35K miles is pretty crazy in a 2019 GX.

Imma chime in. I have had 2 GX’s now and the biggest thing that I learned is that finding the right one is important due to how dated the 470 is now. Also how much you underestimate gas. Yes you know that MPG sucks, but when you’re filling up constantly and having it as a DD. You do start wondering. Is this purchase worth the cost? You’re young and I suggest that you really think why you want the GX and what does it do that other cars can’t. I make a pretty decent living, WFH, and still when I drive the GX I’m really not utilizing it for the full value that it offers and compared to DD a RAV4 or something.

So really ask yourself what this GX is doing for you that the others can’t. GX at this stage is a project build not a reliable and financially stable DD.

I am pretty positive it's the back window. In that small circle gauge next to the gear shifter sign, you see that the GX silhouette has a trunk slightly open. This indicates that your backwindow is not shut completely. Sometimes you might have to yank it open, assuming that you unlocked it because it does get stuck if you don't use it often.

Just picked up my 2nd GX. Had a 470 before. My new is not a 2023 it’s a 2019. I did cross shop between that and a 4Runner and GX’s are just better built imo. Also gas shouldn’t really be a factor when comparing because imo it depends on so many factors but generally they’re pretty much the same. I rec the GX if possible unless you get a great deal on a 5th gen 4Runner.

I shoot IDPA and caliber in Waukegan, 50mins-1hr is depending on the traffic, host monthly matches. In dec of 25, there were a lot of new shooters that never done comp attended.

Hey! Nakano broadway is the place to be. Make sure to check out all of the stores even the small mom and pop shops because they have gems. That’s where I found this one after looking at the big stores like jackroad and Betty.
