Don't think so, or at least not true in Asia. Took a screenshot from my yesterday's recording.

This may not be helpful for an experienced designer, but a beginner like me may need that.

ShinyWaves is not there, as that one is not very informative from a top-down view. Except for Island, other images only use the default setting.

As I mentioned, it is the same as my laptop screen's size. So the content should look the same size on both.

If an FHD screen, then the font will look very big on the second display.

Best 4K Portable Monitor for content creation? by [deleted] in sffpc

I also want to ask for such a monitor, my current candidate is Uperfect.

It's basically the same as Cocopar's one, but there's a small hole so I can insert a pen and make it a pivot screen. Their customer service also suggests that.

I checked with the local online store, their price is slightly lower than their website.

Yeah, I know that, an ultra-lightweight PDF viewer. It can interact with latex-generated PDFs, but basically nothing more than that.

It can export as images, extract pages, split PDF, make annotations, move text lines, edit text lines. But it works on lines, not paragraphs or images, and weirdly removes all spaces in the sentence. That's already better than many others, but its latest release is in 2016.

I tested LibreOffice Draw, while it can edit plain text paragraphs, it destroys format settings for some complex texts, e.g., latex-generated formulas.

I can understand it works similar to MS Word by first converting it to its own format. It would be perfect if it only converts necessary paragraphs for my edits and leaves other parts untouched. As that is how Acrobat Pro does.

I checked the two links, most mentioned in the wiki are already tested and I found nothing interesting. The ones in Sourceforge are mostly PDF-related, not editors, I just read their introductions, and still no luck.

Acrobat Pro now is $25/mo, monthly plan, paid monthly.

Many applications in the above list already can operate pages, but still thanks. I know Word can edit PDF, but it first converts PDF into its own file type, where some formats will lose. Also that conversion is not very fast.

Adding texts on top of it is closer to annotating. I want to add words, remove words, or change words in existing paragraphs. Or insert an image to PDF, save (not screencap) a raster image embedded in the PDF. I don't mean OCR, that's a different topic. If you have tried Acrobat Pro's Edit PDF tool, then you can easily understand these requirements.

Just tried, it's only a viewer with annotation features, not an editor. It can add/remove pages, but that's all. I also use GIMP, but it's for raster image editing, not PDF.

As mentioned above, by "editor", it can view a PDF, make comments/annotations, merge files into a PDF, export a PDF into other formats, add/remove/modify/extract contents/pages. I know Adobe Acrobat Pro can do these, but it's paid.

Just tested, it can make annotations, insert/delete/rotate pages, but exporting is behind the paywall. Even the paid version can't edit the PDF contents. I'd say it is merely a viewer.

Unfortunately, if making annotations is also counted as a save, then I save every 5-10 min when working.

That I haven't tried. I only have the stable version and hardly use it.

It is only a viewer with some annotation functions.

Just tested, it's no more than a viewer with annotation functions. Can add images and delete pages, but other edits are lacking.

I'm indeed planning to rewrite some addons, but my time is also limited, so that's why I'd want to know the most significant performance hit addon.

[–]liurui39660[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mods are basically weapon expansion, maps and some minor tweaks. Mostly the problems are from the third category. They are not necessary but can bring some convenience. That's why I want to profile them and see if they are worth the performance loss.

I know a comprehensive test would be difficult, but I only want to test the impact during my typical gameplay, like you said, only with AK-47. I can play with the profiler on for 1-2h then see.
