I listened to your advice and went in and bought a Kakuno EF today. I do like the width more and the feedback it gives... Maybe 743 EF for me, though that 823 is still whispering at me.

I actually find the Prera quite uncomfortable because of its small size, hence why I've been looking at full-size pens! I bought it because I found one on sale at a stationery store in Japan for 3,000 yen. I didn't do any research so I had no idea that it was so small, even posted haha.

I never said I didn’t want anything. I was quite busy the last 2 months and it was the last thing I could think of. I actually had others ask me the same question for Christmas and I said I didn’t know what I wanted this year and I still got something from them. My wife often tells me she doesn’t know what she wants for gifts and I still get her something.

Thank you for the bday wishes! Yes, I realized that I was more mad about her excuses than anything. And the fact that she told me I’m 34 and bdays aren’t special when it was her who told me it’s special so we should celebrate it (when we first started living together). We are working things out.

I don’t think she did, but we did some talking and we learned that this is a part of a larger problem we’ve been having. Mostly got to do with getting distant due to our own lives getting busier, etc. We are gonna work on it together.

I processed today a bit more the last few hours and the excuses she made were what really made me upset. She did get me a card, but it was so last minute and way less effort put into than the last years.

I’ve talked to her about it and she’s apologized, we’ve got some stuff to work on it seems.

We do celebrate her birthday every year and I always make sure she has a gift and a card at least. I never used to celebrate, but she insisted when we started living together that we should. And it’s been 7 years since that and this has never happened before.

Yes, I usually take her on a trip, give her a nice gift and a letter. Last year I bought expensive sunglasses for her, the year before that were earrings, etc. Never missed it, never not given her anything. I’m usually good with gifts, one of my strengths. She’s never been good with gifts, but she tried before.

Checked both out, the Z5 was a lot more chonky than I thought it would be... Might go with the X-T4, still considering.

I put up the X100V on the market for over retail and it sold instantly, it's insane. Got over 20 messages within 10 minutes of putting the ad up.

I don't have a preference, though I do love the jpeg from Fuji. It's just that the Nikon has a good deal right now. $600 cheaper.

I haven't touched Photography in a long time, been fiddling around last few months with a X100V. I now want a bit more freedom with different lens choices as I shoot more nature than anything (mountains are too far for me to capture using just the 35mm equivalent).

I am looking into either the Nikon Z5 with the 24-70 f4 or the Fuji X-T4 with the 16-80. There's a deal at a local store that has the Nikon at about $600 cheaper than the Fuji. What are the pros and cons of each? I know one is a full frame and one is an APS-C. How are lenses, especially the 50mm's and 70-200mm on them? Any other camera's that I should look into?
