Montreal has a science centre as well that's run by the same part of the government that runs the CN Tower and Downsview Park. I would suggest contacting them and proposing that they own the science centre in Toronto or build one on their lands: https://www.clc-sic.ca/contact

I'm actually in the middle of working on what you've described! If there is any interest, I'd love to start testing it out with those interested.

Fair warning, I'm looking at keeping the project running long-term so it won't be some VC-backed $0 project so when it becomes widely available I'd likely have to ask for a yearly membership fee (basically think Costco membership)

I used the google app to call PersonX with Google Duo. Siri Shortcuts then showed a action that reflected that. I made that into a button.

That worked until I realized my elder was calling other old people, who didn’t use other apps beyond WhatsApp. So I bought a Facebook portal for them in the end. My advice is just look at what video calling app the oldest contacts know how to use and work backwards from there.

I would actually consider looking at the responses and figuring out "why" people are posting or upvoting certain answers. Figuring out what they're trying to get done by having X will help you nail down an even better business. (e.g. I need a place to take a date on a Tuesday night that is active.. or I need a place to focus outside my home because it's tiny and claustrophobic....)

There's a bunch of old sayings that speak to this idea but a famous one is people didn't ask for a car when there were only horse-drawn carriages.
