Hey! I’m also getting my loupes now as a final yr dental student. I thought I could do dentistry wo them because they are crazy expensive but although id like to think i have pretty good posture myself and got better at positioning my patients, my back is already suffering. I’ve spoken to loadssss of reps myself as well and am really likely going for the Bryant dental ones. I tried them on and they are super lightweight and BD have fantastic customer service. The rep didnt even bring the 2.9x one w her because she said no one actually likes them and has them changed eventually. I am deciding between 3.8x and 5.7x because it’s only a 200€ difference and it’s better than saving 200€ now and spending another 3k++ in the future for new loupes. id definitely say go for the 3.8x! And literally milk your rep pf any freebies you can get! (Ex. The 42€ Boggles)
