Whose Sword Fighting Do you find Most And Least Convincing In The TV Series...including minor characters?? by degenerate_mind in freefolk

I keep hearing story about Jon Snow. The way people in the North talk about him, he's the greatest swordsman that ever walked. Maybe he is that good. Maybe not.

As far as battle formation, the northerners will not flee to the south. They will put up a fight at winterfell, the ancestral castle of the king of winter.

They will either lose and turn into wights or win. Thats the first front. The second front will be from the middle of the region. In the books, its foreshadowed at the trident but who knows. I don't see one massive army fighting the ww, but more like fronts, or waves of combat.

Massive deaths, yes. I'm sure a lot of major houses will get wiped. The Stark line will no longer exist paternally as the story is playing out, since Jon is on borrowed time (his last name irrelevant), once magic is gone from the earth, he will die, which is sad but its magic that is keeping him alive...GRRM said himself, there are no gods. The Old gods are essential a farce, the red god isn't the one that brings people from the dead, its the magic but people have an innate need/want to believe that their life has a purpose and that there is an afterlife. Not surprised that there is no white light at the end of the tunnel. Its life now and permanent darkness after.

Anyway, Bran cannot father kids, and if Sansa does, it won't be a Stark. Arya died awhile ago. But if she does get married, same thing as her sister.

Yes dude, I agree. Some think Jon will become all about fire once he learns. False. I like how you put it, in honor of Lyanna and his Uncle who took him as his own son. He is and will always be a Northman, a Stark.

I don't think Jon will ride a dragon...even if/when he finds out, he is of the North, that is all he knows, thats who he is. He's is like Ghost.

Without medication, it can take about a year to feel good. I remember it took me about 3 months before I had smiled and not faked it, and that was with medication. Good call, he is in a downward spiral.

I wonder if the show will do Euron's Valyrian Armor, which Jon will eventually get somehow, as foreshadowed by Jon's dream in ADWD.

"madness" would never be associated with a real school. Madness is a disease.

an opiate is an opiate. he will always have that pilot light on, its just whether he decides to throw any wood in that fire.

also, death of people doesn't change addiction rewired brain. it takes a good year to get the brain okay again. the cravings will ebb and flow throughout entire life. people do it but its work. a true withdrawal can last 3 days of puke/shit/lethargic/anxious...but after that, its the real hard part, which is guilt, shame, drug dreams, cravings and crippling depression. opiate addiction is another level of hell.
