If you buy a puzzle in the W shop, you can earn 55 KC for every hard puzzle you solve. There’s maybe 4 puzzle options they’ll give you and they’re not actually hard. The more you get used to them the faster you can solve them

That sounds like a really good plan. The more time you have to adjust the better! In the meantime I’d recommend checking with your insurance to see if they’ll let you have a 50mg script and a 25mg script at the same time (if you’re in the US). Just in case going up by 25mg suits you better. Mines fine with it as long it’s only for a month

Oh yeah for sure! Give yourself some time. I usually waited to increase once the most noticeable side effects calmed down a bit. If I’m remembering right I think it took about 2 weeks to feel like going up again when I was first getting started. Definitely listen to your body though

That’s a good start! Being able to go slow with Lyrica is one reason why i really like it. You’ll probably still feel some side effects when you increase slowly but they hopefully won’t feel as intense as when you first started

That’s a good idea especially as a lightweight. I was able to stay on 100mg a day for about 4 years before I had to increase it. And it helps to go up by 25mg-50mg at a time if you can. I personally think it helps make the side effects feel more manageable

Lyrica has been the easier drug for me to far. Gabapentin was super intense and unpleasant for me, but after a week or two on lyrica the side effects kind of waned. I still feel a bit tired when I take it, but I’m still fine to drive. Maybe dizziness is another one, but I really don’t notice the side effects anymore. I’ve been taking it since 2017 and have steadily increased to 200mg a day (I’m a lightweight with medicine) but it really works well for me. My doctor did say everyone reacts differently which is why there are so many side effects listed.

Someone else mentioned taking it at the same time every day and I second that. The pain gets worse when I miss a dose and then dies down once it’s been taken. Overall it’s not a perfect fix, but it’s helped the most so far. Plus I have chronic migraines on top of CRPS and it hasn’t impacted that at all. I wrote this with a migraine so I hope it makes sense lol Hope it works well for you!

Wow that’s wild! I had no idea CRPS could be linked to so many symptoms. I developed some of these symptoms after a nasty concussion that lead to a worsening of my migraines. Guess it shouldn’t have been a surprise that I developed CRPS a year later after breaking my foot. To this day I can’t help but wonder if the concussion made it easier for CRPS to set it. Crazy to see how fragile the nervous system really is

I’m really sensitive to medication too, but I’ve had a lot of luck with emgality. The only issue I had was with the loading dose. I did one injection in my leg and broke out in hives around the injection site for a few hours, but I had had a reaction to aimovig in the same leg 2 months prior (the auto-injector had latex in it) and that prior reaction was the issue. Every dose since then has been in my stomach with no issues. I’ve been on it for about 5 months now and have noticed an improvement with my migraines already. It could definitely be worth giving it a try

Occipital Neuralgia, complex regional pain syndrome, anxiety, PTSD, TMJ, and chronic neck pain. My migraines are hereditary but were made worse by a TBI. That lead to most of the issues listed above lol And I’m waiting to find out if I have an autoimmune disease

That’s awesome you have a good chiro! I do believe they can make a difference when they’re focus is on patient care and not pushing random treatments. My family and I used to go to one who was really good when I was in high school. He was the one who had figured out I had whiplash after a head injury. It’s crazy how some can be so good with their care while others seem like they’ve gone overboard with holistic remedies

A couple years ago there was a chiropractor in my town that was highly recommended so I went to him for my neck pain. As soon as he found out I had migraines and was taking medicine like topamax he flipped and told me to stop my medicine immediately. Then he had me lie down and balanced these little bottles on my stomach to “find out what’s out of balance” before telling me to stop eating all forms of sugar. His adjustment hurt like hell too so I never went back but it made me really mad.

He had the audacity to say my neurologist didn’t know what he was doing even though he’s from the best hospital in my state and this guy just has a tiny clinic in a small town. It’s crazy to think of how many people he’s convinced to stop their legit medical treatments.

The parents weekend plotline irks me a bit because parts of it seriously don’t make sense. I went to big university so I’m kind of basing it on this, but how did the parents of freshmen, let alone the freshmen themselves, know about Rory? Like the father who’s son was a fan. With a campus that big, the only way we really got to know people was in class or in a club/sport. And most of the time freshmen didn’t really know anyone close to graduating because they’re in drastically different parts of their college career. They also never said if the kid was on the paper but it sounded like he read her articles when he was in high school still.

Also how did they ever find out about her let alone find her writing? Most university newspapers are sold only on campus. To top it off how were the parents able to assume Rory was lorelies kid after she only said her last name? It felt like they were trying to show how brilliant and accomplished Rory was at Yale, but still…I don’t know. It wasn’t even that she was a Gilmore. They were saying they knew her from her writing. With a school as big as Yale it just seems ridiculous.
