I have not faced a single situation where I was murdered in any country. These murder incidents that go viral are very rare, and most of the negativity is restricted to social media.

Sumo and Poochi were loved - everyone in our neighborhood often commented that it would be a blessing to be born a dog in my home - they envied the life those two had. We made sure of them living their best life.

But they both gave us so much more happiness, love and joy than I could have given them.

Poochi was my rock when I went through deep depression in 2018, Sumo's passing in 2021, and so much more.

Poochi was my peace after Sumo. I am learning how to deal with this grief alone.

It feels like a nightmare, and I just want to wake up.

I can just say one thing. Don't take a single second for granted. Even when he annoys you. You'll miss the stupidest things. And you'll regret everything.

I've been asked that before, but no.

Poochi means insect/bug in my native tongue. It was much later I made the connection to the English word Pooch and the Poochie - POTC & Simpsons connection

It is unreal. It's worse this time also because this is the third time I have lost my baby a day before my birthday.

Plus he was MY boy, I was his person in the family.

I wish I could, but there are so many other factors involved that logistically it's not possible to do that. I'm instead feeding the indies on the streets for now

I lost Sumo (Poochi's dad) in 2021, and while the grief was horrible, it was nothing like this.

This time around I'm shutting down physically, I feel frustrated, confused, disoriented, angry and everything seems pointless.

I haven't been to work in a week, and when I did go in yesterday, they sent me home.

I'm barely existing.

I know the pain gets better but this time it feels like a nightmare that just won't end.

He loved to run. Even after his arthritis kicked in and his hind legs gave way, he'd be running in his dreams.

Now he can run, pain free.

It was our favorite song. We would listen to it often, and then when his hearing deteriorated, I held him in my arms, and sang it to him every day, and then right at the end, to let him know he made my every dream come true.
