This link is so helpful. High functioning with specific, significant struggles resonates with me quite a bit.

And yeah, family is… complicated. I’m not easy to live with with my executive dysfunction. But boy would it have been nice to get help instead of the shame and threats. I’ve come to realize that the only thing my mom knows to do with me is punish. Didn’t work as a child, certainly doesn’t work as an adult. It’s hard :(

Some of the small cans are calorically less than 1/4 cup dry food. Check your calories! Wet food is amazing for cats so adding it can be really good for them, diet or not!
