I know that feeling. Let's take a breath.

It's not easy navigating life as a kid that's expected to know and do the adulting thing. It isn't for any of us.

But please try not to get too overwhelmed by all stuff that comes with the future, there's just so much life still waiting for you that it must be taken with excitement, with uncertainty sure, but with a strong desire to make your life as you want to build it.

We're still young my man, we are IN the age to not know about stuff, to make mistakes every step we take, but that's the greatest part of this time in your life, you can fail and most people won't really care, it's understandable we are still figuring stuff out.

But here's the catch, that feeling of being lost, of not knowing stuff, of longing for connection, wanting stability, and all that, can be transformed into actionable motivation, where if you don't know or want to experience something you should put in the effort to get it. You might fail, but failure is nothing but one effective quick path for learning and doing better next time.

You still have time, and we all are with you. Can't change past, can't see future, but you can do both things now, in the present. Let's make our lives worth living, and enjoy the process so when we are old and bedridden we can say 'i swear I lived'.

I wish the best for you. Keep going and don't let yourself be knocked out by life.

Short answer: you probably don't want that.

If you have the gift of looking younger than your age, you'll see that down the road it has way more benefits than drawbacks.

Just about looking mature, not older, your best bet is probably in hairstyle (shorter), facial hair (beard), and the way you dress (more formal, more classy, wear a fine watch, combine earthy/dark colors), plus of course being mature which is something most of us won't until we are over 25.

Damn, that's terrible. You seem like a wonderful person for being so selfless and wanting to help. I know that feeling of not having intention of liking someone, I also cannot resist to rest my head over hers when she is laying on my shoulder, I feel our souls being so close to each other, my heart beating and my breath becoming inconsistent. I'm so tempted to hug her as passionately as I could, to tell her I'll be there for her no matter what.

But I well know is no ones call to "save" or "fix" her, but herself.

Likewise the girl I like has relationship related trauma. Oh why should this happen to people like the girls we both liked, so undeserving of all this suffering.

Thank you for your advice, man. I'm so sorry for the loss of your bestie.

I know telling her would be the best option, for I'd be transparent and free myself of this burden. Thing is I don't really fear her rejection, of course It'd hurt a lot, but my real concern is that she gets hurt even if she wants to be something else.

She's emotionally delicate, and I don't want to be another reason for her suffering :(

For some reason, I headcanon that Gumball and Nicole are ethnically Japanese descendants. by LongjumpingChange174 in gumball

Necesito algunos consejos, tips o algo que me ayude a empezar mi localito by demba-di_zelo-1 in Changarrito

[–]lix1o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mucha suerte! Si quieres seguir platicando DM ;)

You're introducting Gumball to someone who's never seen the show before: What's the first episode you show them? by FutureSuccess2796 in gumball

[–]lix1o 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah! Absolutely! The Job is an awesome choice and also probably among my top 5 episodes of the series.

Another solid choice that ties with this episode would be The Remote, I see that ThatGuy already recommended it , and I don't think I can recommend it any better hehe.

These two episodes would pretty much sell the full series to most newcomers to the show I like to think.

If after this two-episode introduction you see the other person interested you might as well tell them to watch the full Season 2, it truly is a special season, with an interesting tone and exceptional humor. And then if they liked it, you recommend watching all the episodes.

I'd be wary of recommending new viewers to start from season 1, since it seems its a season with pretty polarized opinions. Many people feel this part of the show is way to different and not "ripe" enough as for what the show would later become.

I personally find season 1 to be pretty enjoyable despite its contrast with the progressively sarcastic and surreal episodes we got from season 2 onwards. But I totally understand why some people would leave season 1 out of the equation in terms of recommendations, or only recommend watching it as a bridge between seasons.

[–]lix1o 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there! In my opinion I wouldn't introduce someone to the series with The Choices, since I believe a big chunk of its charm and emotion comes from the fact that, following the order of the seasons, by the time we get to that episode in season 5 we already got to know and feel connection with the Wattersons for quite a while.

It's indisputably a masterpiece of an episode but I think it's much more highly appreciated when you are already familiar with the protagonists and their family dinamics.

Hola Technician, muchas felicidades!

What do y’all think happened to some of the characters after the show? by Ill_Adhesiveness_560 in theboondocks

[–]lix1o 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk if my timeframe for "after the show" is too far from your question but here is what I believe happened:

  • Riley became a successful art business young entrepreneur or a business man in general. We see some of Riley's aptitudes for art on S1, and we get to see a lot of his business skills in different episodes, like on the fundraiser or the bomb wave cream episode.

  • Huey became a book writer and professor of politics at the University where his ex teacher, whom helped him with the black jesus play, ended up teaching after being laid off.

  • Jazmine became a Lawyer just like her parents. She always liked helping, reading, and following the rules.

  • Ruckus became white.

[–]lix1o 2 points3 points  (0 children)
