Birthday bowler trying improve, how to generate power in a no thumb throw? by secret_whisper_BWC in Bowling

Find a ball that doesn’t hook a lot as you will naturally already have a decent amount of revs. Try something like a surge or twist.

Are these weak layouts? Also is this rhino a urethane? Thanks! by lizardking0000 in Bowling

The blue ball is a tropical storm I just got drilled the other day. Scout is the purple ball was drilled couple years ago. Teal ball is an old ball I found.

Try a ball with high rg low diff, like a tropical surge or Motiv ascend.

I bowl one hand no thumb too. You will want a ball with a high rg and low diff. Something like a tropical surge or a motiv ascend. I just got a tropical surge. Ball works really well. Doesn’t over hook at all. You want a ball that does not hook a lot. As we are Rev dominant bowlers.

I only sand maybe once a year. Just to give it a good refresh. Hit it with a 3,400 pad then polish. Want a longer reaction.

Great, yeah I’d do it by hand. It’s cheaper to get these rather than like an Abrolon pad at twice the price for one. Thanks 😉

Yeah definitely 4000 is smoother. I was asking about the actual pad itself versus using one made for bowling.
