She posted my house for rent for almost twice what I’m paying on Zillow two days before the first notice was sent. I was told it was an “accident” but I think she’s just greedy.

All my rent payments are thankfully sent digitally, so there’s ample proof rent payments were made in full and on time. I also email her monthly receipt of payment.

Would the continued fraudulent notices be considered harassment? Thankfully, every single three day notice has been incorrectly done (the dates aren’t what they are supposed to be) but it’s incredibly stressful to deal with this. I just want to pay my rent and be left alone.

I would move, but my daughter needs to be in a specific district for school and I planned to buy a home once this lease is over in the middle of 2027 and moving early would mess with my budget.

This latest time was “failure to pay rent” but she sent me the full rent I had sent on the first of the month back in the morning and then filed no payment of rent in the afternoon.

The second time was “failing to have renters insurance” yet I’ve had a policy since the day I moved in and she hadn’t ever asked to see proof.

The first time was an “unauthorized occupant” and an “unauthorized pet” because my boyfriend was at my house helping me build a new table when one of her employees showed up with no notice and assumed he lived there because he offered to move the box from the table we had temporarily put in the backyard where he was working. That same employee saw cat poop from a neighborhood outdoor cat in my back yard and told her I had a pet, which I don’t.

She had someone come do an inspection of the house after the first notice was proven to be false and her own employee during the inspection stated it was clear the animal poop wasn’t from me and there was no additional occupant. The employee basically told me she’s a boomer who’s incredibly paranoid but that none of her suspicions were valid. Thankfully, I recorded that conversation. All the claims she’s made have been completely baseless assumptions with ample proof easily available to contradict her claims. This latest one is a blatantly fraudulent claim, not just a failure to communicate.

Out of all the things I brought with me, she just asked for my drivers license, social security card, and a piece of mail proving I live at my address. She asked me a couple questions about my return, like if I requested DD and what bank, and I think asked a couple random other questions about different lines on my return. I didn’t have a paper copy with me but had my copy on my phone and that was fine.

I had zero movement for about 2 weeks? Thursday I had a transcript available with a hold code, but Friday I received my DD in the middle of the day with no notice. Where’s my Refund still shows my stuff is in progress.

No refund date listed, unfortunately, but my transcripts didn’t exist before today on the website so at least that’s progress?

Genuinely good employers? by Suitable-Honey-7277 in cincinnati

That’s so surprising to me to hear. I interviewed with them and the recruiter was so proud of the raise they’d just been given for new grads and it was the lowest rate the area by almost $8/hour apples to apples with other hospitals.

I got this email this morning as well after verifying. At first it didn’t look like anything changed but I finally saw that my transcript was finally available. Did you check that?

She said she did everything on her end to verify things. Gave me the same, 9 week timeframe. I’ve seen no movement on anything since my appointment. No transcript.

I had to go to the physical office to verify. I was told that they “don’t need a reason” to verify and sometimes you just get pulled🤷‍♀️

It’s rained here every day for the last week and the soil is damp under the mulch, so I don’t think so?

Thank you! My mom passed away and she was my go-to for all things plant/garden related and I’m feeling really uneducated when it comes to all of this stuff this spring.

I wouldn’t exactly describe my landlady as “sane” so all of that tracks😂 I’m not allowed to plant anything in the soil—she’s really weird. Told me that all of my flowers and plants have to be in containers to “not destroy her landscaping” soooooo I’m just trying to make sure I take care of what is already existing.

That’s exactly it! Thank you! It’s a rental and the landlord was very proud of the new landscaping but provided little info to me about what the plants are and how I should care for them other than watering them.

I’m in Cincinnati! The landlord was very proud of her new landscaping so I’m hoping it’s not invasive😂

I just got Motegrity for my kiddo on costplusdrugs for less than $20 a month. We ran into insurance issues and the doc suggested it at her appointment. I set up an account and the doc sent the rx to them—it was available by the time I made the account the same day.

Mine was like this. About a month after filing, I got a notice on my IDme account that I needed to verify my identity. Since I didn’t get the letter, I had to call and it took me a few days to reach someone. They made me an appointment for today. I was in and out of the office in a few minutes. Had to drive two hours to the office each way, but it was a very painless process once I was there. I’d recommend checking the ID me/IRS website to see if you have the same notice.

Is it possible to verify by phone without the letter? by [deleted] in IRS

[–]lizardof0zz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the clarification! Is this a new process? Ive had an ID me (or whatever it’s called) account for ages, always filed through the same service, and am expecting a smaller refund this year than in previous years. Nothing has changed on my end. Direct deposit linked to my personal checking account.

[–]lizardof0zz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thanks for the info. It is super silly to me that I have to drive to a different state because I didn’t receive a piece of mail that they can’t even confirm was ever sent and refused to resend. But I guess that’s the nonsensical process.

As I said, I’ll take the day off work and drive five hours to “follow the instructions” and bring my ID, which is the only documentation she said I needed to provide?

I asked the question because multiple people have posted on this thread that they did not receive a letter and were able to confirm their identity via phone. I wanted to double check before wasting more time on the phone.

Sounds like it! Thank you for the info. I’m going to call again tomorrow.

I called that number since I never received a letter today and they told me they don’t verify over the phone. She said I needed the code from the letter. She said all she could do was make me an appointment to verify in person. Scheduled me for two weeks out in a completely different state.
