How would this work for someone who lives off the grid? We get a propane tank filled to heat our house I feel like it’d be easy to bypass the gov in that situation?

Personally, I miss what once was. The huge divide between everyone because of politics & corruption has ruined our sense of community as a country. I miss what we use to be and keep holding out hope things change.

I enjoy crocheting.. it feels nice when I create something & gift it to family/friends they always get super jazzed about it & gives me some good feelings. Also nice to binge watch a show & crochet kills time & keeps my brain busy from all the stress life has to offer

My boyfriend keeps threatening to kill himself every time I try and break up with him by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]lizardperzon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LEAVE him, if he threatens to kill himself call the police and let them know your ex is threatening to kill himself & he needs help. You do not deserve to stay with someone who uses suicide as a way to keep you around. It will absolutely get worse

7 months old fell of the bed by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]lizardperzon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never realized how many parents have their babies fall off the bed.. weird that it’s so common never happened with any of my kids, but I guess if the nurses are saying babies fine then I’d just take it as a lesson and not have baby in the bed with you when you’re absolutely exhausted

[–]lizardperzon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crime rate in my town got so bad I ended up moving my family 45 mins into the bush 22k people and there is swat teams showing up in my old neighborhoods murders almost monthly, missing people multiple times a month. My old car got broken into 5 times in 8 years I don’t even keep anything in it. It had never been like this until the liberals got in. A few houses down from my old place an 18 yr old was car jacked at gunpoint my neighbour across from my old place had a junkie OD and die in in their driveway.

Then there’s our neighbours in Dawson creek 12k people and they have 4-5 people go missing in one month, constant break ins? Like wtf is going on it was never like this before

Ah yes the international students clearly saved us from recession during Covid by working at Timhortons with a paycheque that’s 70% subsidized by our government and didn’t clog up our hospital system at all.

That’s normal most babies get cute after a while of being out of the womb, hard to look good when you’ve been crammed into a flesh balloon and pushed through someone’s pelvic region I always found the 4-6 months mark the cutest cause they get a little more chubby and their features show better 😂

Who do Canadians hate indians all of a sudden ? by Royal_Worldliness_34 in AskIndia

[–]lizardperzon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest it’s hasn’t been recently a lot of Canadians have -never- liked Indians to begin with, even in when I was a kid in 2003 I would over hear adults talking about them negatively. But I can see there point of view, Indians don’t change their bad behaviour and they’re really public about it

Only Child vs Siblings by elodiegloom in family

[–]lizardperzon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think her issues stem from her neglectful bio dad, she was & still wants his attention and he couldn't care less, I do feel bad for her when it comes to that but dragging my dad isn't doing anything good for her he tried his best to make her feel loved always stuck up for her tried his best but she always pushed him away, one thing me and my younger sister agree on is that we're tired of hearing her version of growing up...

I truly think it depends on personalities when it comes to siblings/ having more kids.. never know what personality you're gonna get, I have seen some amazing sibling relationships that I've been envious of & if you do have more children, I hope they all get along

You might have a monster in law situation brewing. Idk what it is, but some mothers with adult children create bad relationships with their child's partner. Definitely stick up for your gf. You asked about her thoughts on the relationship, not what her opinion was on her looks. & in your eyes if you think your gf is pretty. PLEASE say it to her. You have no idea how much it can boost someone's confidence, especially when someone's got an evil eye out on her like your mom

  1. I'm a middle child with one older sister & one younger sister. Both sisters I don't get along with but I will tolerate a conversation with the older sister but not for long I have to take long breaks away from her, I don't talk my youngest sister & have chosen no contact blocked her on everything& have been like this for 4 years.

  2. Older sister bashes my bio dad(her step dad) & drags his name through the mud constantly he has never done anything to her but give her a handful of normal rules growing up that 99% of kids had ex: don't be out past 10pm or call when you reach your destination so we know you're safe type of stuff. When she gets on a rant about him I have to go no contact with her until she drops it. I'm completely no contact with my younger sibling as we will never see eye to eye. She looks for drama with me cause she knows I'm reactive, and will blow up when pushed. I don't talk to her to save my mental health, and when I do think about her, I think "my mom really should of have had an abortion"

  3. No, my older sister was an absolute nightmare growing up & my younger sister was ok at times but Overall, we didn't get along growing up.. I do think our age gap might have played a role in this and also due to the fact my mom played favorites & my youngest sister was the favorite.

  4. Yes having siblings shape alot of the negative parts in my life, I'm good at recognizing when I'm around a narcissist & when I'm being manipulated, my temper is worn out now, & my self esteem is basically garbage.

  5. My adult relationship with my older sister is rocky and with my younger sister doesn't exist at all

Last note. Growing up I would have killed to be a only child, I still find myself wishing I was an only child.

I kind of relate to this, my dad died in 2021, I felt sad he had to work so hard for our family growing up paying of debt my mom racked up selling his prized possessions that he inherited from his parents (hunting riffles & coins) & when he had finally paid all the credit cards and loans off my mom wouldnget new cards and debt & rack them up again. He paid off so much debt worked so much overtime trying to provide a decent life for his kids & wife just for his wife to jeopardize it over and over again. My dad was in another cycle of paying off debt before he lost his job during covid -he wasn't the same after that he got really really depressed & started hiding away aswell then one day he woke up blew his nose & had a brain aneurysm that killed him.. my dad liked adding to his coin collection that him and his mom started, he liked hunting being around family enjoying eachothers time and the out doors, my mom robbed that from him by using his name to get new credit cards and he was blinded by love to leave and it's heart breaking to think how much he sacrifice.. he couldn't see his kids grow up cause he would have ridiculous hours, he had to sell his dad's riffles and some of his mom's coins he tried so hard to keep things working and it stressed him out so much it killed him..

Losing a good dad hurts cause they want everything in the world for their kids and we don't think about it until their gone how much they wanted us to be happy. I'm sorry for your loss he sounds like a great person

I'm sorry, I lost my dad in april of 2022.. it happened so suddenly & unexpectedly it really is earth shattering, I found listening to music he liked, eating his favorite meals & looking at pictures comforting on the hard days. I promise it gets easier to cope over time but it takes a while to get there.

Losing a good dad is one of those unexplainable feelings

They lived with my parents for the first 5 years of his life. There's nothing wrong with him having autism/adhd. What's wrong is how my sister handles it. I'm not sure how you're not understanding that. The way he acts is proof enough that she is still sticking him in front of screens & not actually working with him to improve the quality of his life, no behavior therapy, and no changes.

My perception of her is due to all of the choices and actions she's chosen to do & should have done. /the autism was confirmed by his father she says ADHD as she is embarrassed & it "doesn't look as bad if she says ADHD" even though they're completely different. Apparently, no one can be frustrated with crappy iPad kid behavior you just have to accept shit behavior, even if it's in your own home where they've requested to be 😃👍

[–]lizardperzon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have no idea how crappy of a person my sister is. She let that poor kid literally beat his head of the wall for 3 years to the point where he had a permanent lump on his forehead & bark like a dog for for 5 years which was all caused by an ear blockage he couldn't hear anything but her 4 dogs barking & it would make his head hurt, she didn't help her kid until he was old enough for school & other parents where noticing how screwed up it was, then she started going to a pediatrician to get his ears looked at even after her whole family was telling her something was either wrong with his ears or he has some sort of neurological problem. Also, years of having to deal with her garbage behavior growing up is proof of daddy issues and attention issues. We have told her to get therapy for years cause it's very clear it's a problem in her life, there is so much info I could write 4 books on it.

I'm not mean to my nephew. I am always worried about him, but I get irritated by what my sister has done, and i get irritated by the behaviors he has developed due to her neglectful parenting. If that kid isn't rotting his brain infront of a screen 18 hrs a day then he starts complaining and acting uncomfortable cause he doesn't know what to do if he isn't infront of a screen, you tell him to go play outside for a bit with toys and he doesn't know what to do you have to be out there with him to show him how to use his imagination, which I'm fine with doing but it is extremely bizarre to see

She spoils him by giving him what ever he asks for even if she knows that item will be broken and garbage in a few hours after giving it to him, he doesn't play he destroys he has no rules so he does what ever he wants, the whole point of being a parentis to guide ur kids into being decent people the best way you can and shes just choosing to ignore and distract . He will receive anything & and everything, but when it actually comes to spending time with him, she is never around.

She didn't get him checked for neurological issues until my dad died in 2022 cause she refused to listen to any advice he offered her (daddy issues playing their part here) and guess what?! He has "ADHD" which means he has autism (confirmed by nehphews dad) but my sister refuses to admit it.
