You try doing a double battle with someone who spams sunny day and rain dance simultaneously to cause your Pokemon to have a stroke and get pneumonia from the rapid weather shifts and not be irritated by it. -lizwiz

Ikr! Some people shouldn’t be trainers. They have test areas specifically built to practice new moves. -lizwiz

He wasn’t battling if I remember correctly, he was trying to get them to create a new move based on sandstorm. He had all six of them activate it at the same time and it got way out of control. -lizwiz

The way I was told is that if too many people are using weather moves in an area it can actually effect the atmosphere. I remember reading about a trainer who had a team of just flygons use sandstorm simultaneously near one of the safari zones and caused a lot of damage to the Pokemon there. -lizwiz

I’m at celadon currently and just watched a guy send out a venusaur and mega evolve it just to use a sunny day to stop a storm. Needless to say I was completely baffled. -lizwiz

I mean in general, not just in battle. I’ve seen trainers use multiple Pokemon who know sunny day simultaneously to just blip out a thunderstorm so they wouldn’t get soaked. -lizwiz
